like i said before, stick to spark plug wires and LEDS, the things you clearly know about more then cars/performance.

To some that are getting out of hand, please stay on topic...this thread is meant to see who pushed the limit on thier neons, not who goes faster and who BS's on thier experience.

Yes... becuase you see a lot of LEDs and Spark plugs wires in my mod list riiiiiiiiiight.
I never said regardless of his car he cant do 180, what i said is i dont believe he has such a car.
You cant just jump in and claim 180 withouth any kind of proof and expect everyone to believe you, and at the first one to calls BS on that you just get defensive instead of shutting my mouth with any kind of proof.
anyway, back on track, i still have the top speed in a n/a neon

Besides everyone being called an idiot by the forum instigator this is still a good thread. Lets keep it going. I was working on my top speed, I had only a af/x race ecu and crane 14 cam to go. You almost had some N/A competition Baal. I still got my kirk longtube header sitting around.

Well my header will be pretty cheap (100 to 150usd), so if something goes wrong ill probably want that kirk in a near future

i think it's more like 115...i'm guessing he's in 4th gear and from the rpms if it's ne thing like mine car it's around 115 - 120ish in fourth but i could be wrong lol o well

No -.-, its 130mph in 5th at 5500rpms aprox.
i actually touched 140 but i dont have a pic.
Just zoom the pic and you will see the speed in miles.

there are more pics in of my car in the Picture Post subforum, i race my neon in tarmac rallys

, and well the perfect road for rallys are in the mountains, where if you mess up, you are gonig to need a badass cage to save you while you roll a mile down the mountain

top speed: a couple of years ago when the car was fully stock, i got up to a little over 100 on the interstate
BUT recently, i have been accused of going 127 on a semi busy main road where i live, when i was no where near where it happened....so me and my friends joke about how im going to try to break my 'record' of 127 or how i need to SLOW DOWN hahaha, its crazy...going to court soon for that one

I've hit 115 in 4th, then the the shifter poped out of gear and scared the shit out of me. Mods where: SRT exhaust.

i seriously doubt it made much of a difference. all i notice is a smoother idle.
and it was a really good route. car was extremely quick. i've picked on and beat g35 coupe's, 350z's, the new 6-speed tl's.

I hit 120mph in 4th @6500 rpm, as soon as I grabbed 5th the car stayed at 122mph and would not pull anymore. This was running 89octane
DAMN I need NOOOSSS and 2 bottles of it
