when i was a kid one of my neighbors had a old mercedes diesel.i loved that car,so classy and well built.well over the years i have kept my eye on them just to see what people where doing with them,and i found this the other day and wow,i freaking love it

it is a 1976 300D,anyways i have been looking around and to my surprise i have found a few with very low miles for under 5k.i even found one that is on its second owner,69k original miles,always garaged for 2,900.it gets me thinking that in a year or two i may pick up one for a project,what do you guys think of it? i even got the wife to say that she liked it,and she never likes the idea of me buying "another" car lol
