Hit uninsured motorist..what now??

You need to have insurance to get your car registered, but not get your license in MD AFAIK.

I don't think I had insurance when I went to get my license.

I believe there are some states that do not require insurance to be maintained.

Uninsured motorist covers your shit if someone hits you, not the other way around really...

True, however since fault was placed on the other driver it may be different.

Granted, anyone that looks at your car will say you hit them. Very rare is the front end damaged like that when someone hit you.
