ok so time has come that i put my neon aside and keep it as a project so i been thinking of a daily ride!! what u guys think of the 09 scion tc i realy like them 5 speed that moonrof is amazing!! they look like a fun car a friend at work has a supercharged one and its realy quick!! what u guys think???

meh....my bro had one...didn't really care for it....the gear ratio's in them are really weird.

If they totaled my car back in June I was going to purchase one.

I like them.

They can look extremely clean in white...I would love to have one for a DD.

Looks..... i give them a thumbs up but there are a lot of them out there so if you do get one make it so that it stands out. Performance wise i hear mixed reviews. Engine is decent people say but people say if you play with it too much or dont know what ur doing it can go quick. but overall if i was in ur position id prob go for it.........

They're nice, I like them. They're just a Celica engine with a new body.

they are npt that heavy at all and like i said its goint to be a daily driver so no need to strip it. i deff think of the trd supercharger but no need to strip..



i went to see a 09 one 5 speed and this car is the oficial get laid lol
i have learned that the seats in the back fold and when the headrest of the front seats are taking out its turns to a huge BED and u can stare at the sky from the moon rof come on guys what girl wount love that lol!!!!
its amazing now i like them even more this is the car for the drive in movies lol

TRD Supercharger = $3200+ to run 15's in the quarter mile.

SOOOO not worth the money

$26K to buy a tC from the dealership with the TRD package and it does 0-60 in 7 seconds and the quartermile in 15.1

There a so many cars out there that you can get for cheaper that are going to give you more for your money, and I'm not only talking about in terms of performance.

26K what really cool cars can we get for that:

Decent 308: Talk about getting laid
Iffy 328: See above but faster
Beat 348: Once again have about $20,000 to fix it though

Decent early NSX: If you're trying to pull men...

Good used Evo/STi: Fast really fast not going to get you laid

Drivable Esprit V8: Keep a spare trans.

C5 Z06: Do you have any idea how fast that thing is? Who gives a fuck about the interior

A street miata and a spec miata racer hell maybe even a truck/trailer to drag specy around

1gn maybe early 2gn Viper: cool

Ram SRT-10: Cool with a bed

FC RX7: Cool and you should have enough for an LS1 swap

Yeah, I watched a guy with a ScionTC with the supercharger and some work run a 15.31 at the track. My $1600 neon with a long tube and a computer with no rear seat ran a 15.39.

Definately faster/better looking cars out there for the money.

Before I bought my Mazda I was looking at a JCW GP for around $28K. Only had 2,000 miles on it.

relax guys the laid thing was a joke about the moonrof and like u said i been looking at the mazda 3 too realy liek them i even found and rx8 for 18 with 10k

guys thank u for all the advice and the reason why i realy thinking of the scion im a lexus employee i can get the car top of the line supercharged with the navi and dvd for 17k thats why im realy into it i get discont after all im in toyota corp!!

the tCs are a nice car, but overpriced.

as far as comments about a MS3... i think mazda screwed up buy not making the sedan version. the MS3's are nice, and fast, but would be way cooler if they were the sedan....

Damn. The new motor and trans I'm putting in should do mid-low 13's...

If you're just getting it for a DD, I don't think all of this talk about how good the motor is under modding really matters. If you like the way it looks, get it.
