Ok.. You gotta love this!!

So.. I was in the market for a new hood for my car and I wanted an SRT hood so I Google'd it to find some other neon sites and came across this one SRT site and it had several hoods that I would have killed for and at some good prices (before I found the $200 one) Well.. I went to register. Read EVERYTHING and clicked submit and then I confirm the registration and I was told admin have to confirm it now. A day later I get this email

"Dear Kelevra,

Unfortunately your registration did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted.

Sorry"

So I'm like WTH and I try again this time looking for anything stating anything about registration requirements. I found nothing and again a day later.. I get the same email.

Now. I know what you're thinking that it's probably because I don't own an SRT.. but the site states "and other SRT enthusiasts" so I don't see how you have to own a certain car to be an enthusiast.

Well.. I sent them a little email requesting these requirements that I am not meeting and I'm waiting on a response and I'm not expecting one. so I'm posting up this now and within a day I will reveal the site so everyone will know what a bunch of crackheads they are. I only wanted to use the site for some items that were for sale. and if anyone here turns out to be a member of the site then you will know they're turning away potential members for no reason who would have bought some items you may have had for sale.

This concludes my rant

Yeah dude I just read the TOS and I don't see any reason for them to keep rejecting you. Are you using a free e-mail service or one that looks fishy?

EDIT: It's the one i've used for years. It's my paypal, all my IMs are registered to it. even this site as well as others use that address to contact me.

well.. I'm not whining. but I thought it should be known to see if anyone else had this issue as well and to let everyone know that they're preventing new members from joining for no apparent reason.

Who knows... they could be rejecting you because they don't want anymore members to join the forum. I've seen a few sites like that which just cut off all registrations for an undetermined amount of time... for what reason I don't know.

If it's all because of your email address trying using one thats through your ISP like Road Runner, AT&T, Charter, ect... not a free account. Could be any number of things but keep in mind... don't get pissed at the site, it's not a right to be a member, it's a privilege and they can deny whoever they want, for whatever they want.

well.. I don't own my connection my mom's b/f does and at my dads.. he does

My problem is not that they're not letting me join.. but the lack of information as to why. they do not state any registration requirements and if they don't want people to join why not remove the register button?
