OMG V6/V8 guys are the worst....put on an exhaust and they think they're at 500hp. It might sound mean as fuck but still slow

And on that note I have to go drop some pistons in my SRT block, brb
yeah, my monte had 450whp when i had the high flow cat, catback and a set of cherry bombs

What are you talking about? The hood and wing alone add 300 horses and the body kit is another 150 horses, and the crooked license plate, that's at least 350 horses! He's got over 800 horses in mods on that thing man!

lol true, at LEAST 800 hp. and thats without the fake nos bottle he probably has on his a pillar, and you also forgot about the 50" tach on his dash. either it didnt come with one or he just couldnt see it. (not a flame on asians) lol

My car sounds like a weed wacker. Then again, there's something wrong with the exhaust and it's winter, so I'll just have to live with it.

This thread is a heaping helping of FAIL. The whole ricer discussion is just stupid. It is throughly annoying whenever it comes up.

Do what you like to your car. Everyone is gonna have a different opinion. Plus, there seems to be this huge trend toward 'clean' lately. We should just call it stock, because that is all it is. Don't get me wrong, I have seen some great looking 'clean' cars but there is a huge difference between that and stock.

Haha yeah i've noticed that too. The best definition of "clean" I can give is light modifications. Maybe some rims, debadged with a drop? I thought about going 100% OEM look on my SRT but it's going to cost too much :|

i agree with this to a point,i think "clean" can mean that even though the car is highly modified it still retains the basic lines and functional aspects of a stock car with personal changes made to improve handling, performance and apperance to suit the owners taste. i think that would be far from stock in definition, and fuck the term "ricer",i hate it.it is the car enthusiast version of the "N" word and its annoying

I'd stare at it.

that honda is alright as a show car i guess...
at lease that person but money into the car
but to me that is not a "ricer"
my defintion is an ass the put a stupid muffler on that sounds like a fart can, also puts a extra highrise version of spoiler that does nothing but makes it a great seats to watch the little league play baseball at the field on and goes and thinks he/she are all that

just my opinion

The front shot of that Honda reminded me of the AMC Pacer.

Anyone here remember those? No?

Do an image search with google... then report back here.

Exactly. A clean car is one that doesn't scream "racecar" to the average person on the road. It is built with quality parts and the primary focus is performance. I don't care how nice it might look, a knock-off/ugly part on an otherwise nice car completely ruins it. For a car to be considered clean IMO, it has to be properly built from top to bottom, no exceptions. I see so many cars on here that would be great if it weren't for the shitty aftermarket taillights or chrome wheels...

Oh and I agree about the N word part too!

"clean" does not necessarily mean performance at all!

My car is considered "clean" and there's not one performance part on it anywhere...

bone-yard-racing wrote:So you're saying that having numbers down the side of your car is bad?
On a street car, yes. Just because a car sees track time doesn't mean it has to look the part. If it's a DD, it should look as such IMO. On the other hand, racecars aren't supposed to fall into these kinds of categories. They're racecars, they're supposed to be crazy!

That's your opinion now, isn't it?

I suppose the definition of a clean car is in the eye of the beholder, but IMO performance is part of the equation. Anyone else?

It's really no different than what they did to the cars in any of the last 5 or 6 decades. It really depends on how creative you want to be, and the level of skill you have to get there. What may have been considered ridiculous back then, goes for a nice price at auction now.

It's a racecar that some fucktard drives on the street, draw your own conclusions

Honestly Ive always thought this "rice" stuff was stupid, those of you who know me know that I find how ricey my car looks hysterical and frankly the more Im laughed at for it the better, its the anti-sleeper and yet somehow pulls it off.
As far as Im concerned I would say that Miley is one of the better looking cars on this forum, simple, clean, and, purposeful its just what I like. Show cars do nothing for me they never will. Everybody has different taste when it come to what looks good case in point there are people who find Sarah Jessica Parker attractive I would rather fuck a table saw

This.

My friend has an RSX Type S that is clean as fuck. Not much performance going on there. I mean it has some balls but it's far from a performance machine.

Funniest thing i've ever seen was a 2500hd silverado with a duramax diesel in it, Tore the rsx off the line, and continued the domination until the end of the track...

Not to talk shit, but isn't OP's car a LITTLE ricey?

Maybe it's just the 6" wheel gap, black eyelids on chrome headlights or chrome rims with SRT spoiler
