So as I was driving past a local Chrysler dealer tonight I looked in the showroom and saw a white PT Cruiser with SRT-4 wheels. I assumed it was one of the owners cars he modified since he owns a lot of toys he shows off there (Viper, Prowler, etc) well it piqued my interest so I did some research and found out it's the new 2009 PT Cruiser Dream Cruiser. I guess they have a black roof, Bentley style grille and SRT wheels. I thought that was interesting. So I guess you can buy new SRT wheels again. I just thought it was interesting and thought I'd share if any of you didn't know or care.

they have srt rims from the old and new ones and I personally don't like them on the pt. but i think they come in chrome so i might be trying to snag a pair if they do

I was curious if they had them in chrome too but I couldn't find anything about it. That would probably be profitable.

I guess that will be the last special edition PT then?

Before they kill it off completely?

i've seen a set of Chrome SRT wheels. there was a set for sale on a local craigslist for a loooooong time also.

as for those wheels, they look too small to be SRT wheels, almost look like 16inch replicas.

but pt wheel wells are gigantic so they very well could be the proper size

Interesting... I want the center caps!

When you buy it new it will say the wheels are a $800 option or some shit. When you can buy them used for around $300 shipped in pristine condition.

^True but just think an $800 option is probably a deal compared to if you go try to buy a set from the dealer. I can't tell what is on the center cap but it looks cool. Also thy did look kinda small, but I assume they are still the 17"s

EDIT: Chrysler's website says they are 17"s

http://www.chrysler.com/en/2009/pt_cruiser/pkg/

They don't really seem to have a lot of info on this package though

i dont understand why they dont make the srt wheels n atleast 7inches wide.. any car with a turbo should come with atleast 7 inch wide wheels..
