Fedex vs. UPS, USmail ,etc.

Post by Mopar65 » Sat Feb 14, 2009 4:55 pm

So Im buying an SRT Hood and was looking into who to ship it with. The time frame is unimportant, I just care about getting it here in one piece. The guy is shipping with Fedex, but I have heard some bad things about them. What do you guys think. I mean modern performance ships with them so I think that they must be decent. Thanks

Mike

greyhound i have heard is good for large items such as hoods. I have worked for fed ex. They do not ship with care. Although i'm sure the rest are just as bad.

None of them are going to treat your items properly. I use to work for a warehouse and i saw how they treated "fragile" packages. they actually threw them around more n kicked them around more than a regular package. Its honestly all in how its packaged to begin with

Yeah, they don't care if it's fragile or not. The car I sent Kelevra, when I dropped it off at the post office, I handed it to the guy and he just threw it in the bin behind him. And I had huge red "Fragile" stickers on it. Then don't care at all, just make sure you pack it well.

The last time I had something Fragile they told me to mark it "Glass"

Anyway, lately where price is a concern the USPS has actually been the best.
