Pulled Over By A Trooper Today

So I was making a junkyard run to get new headlight bolts for my new projectors and the exit I got off on there was a trooper who pulled over a guy on the side. I get to the light and then pulls behind me with one car in between us. So I completely stop for like 5 seconds and make a right on red. He then continues to follow me like 100 feet back while Im going under the limit which was 40 and then just steps on it and gets on my ass with his lights. Well he pulls me over and I dont have my license or my registration because my wallet was at home, so Im thinking Im so fucked

Then he tells me to get out of my car and I pratically shit myself. He brought me to the front of the car and well it turns out its the location of my license plate location. I asked a local cop and he said that as long as it was attached to the front of the car it was okay. I told the trooper this and luckily he understood so he didnt write me up, but I practically shit all over my car. I have the SRT bumper and the plate is attached to the grill mesh and is visible. Apparently the state says that it must be completely visible (there is about 1/4 of the plate that is not visible, but the numbers and letter are not affected) and the plate must be one foot of the ground. So right now Im fixing it and praying that I never get pulled over again

The cop was probably looking for someone or a similar car.

You will get used to it....and as long as you didn't do anything wrong you shouldn't fear them.

I think I'm the only person who doesn't get any shit for their car? I've only been pulled over once, and the cop tried to force an admission of guilt for speeding (he said I was doing 70 in a 55, hooray for radar detectors!) but no tickets or warnings.

most of my tickets have been thanks to my own stupidity, whether it was driving infractions, or mods that didnt fit into the legal standards. can't complain, althoguh i have in the past, looking back, it was my own damn fault.

Trooper cops are the best, they are so laid back. I ran a stop sign in a 20mph zone at 40 mph. And the cop pulled me over and I told him that I was late for a math exam (Which was true) and he let me off the hook and said, don't do it again. Jeez I deserved that ticket for going twice the speed limit lol. He was cool. And his girl partner in the passenger seat was pretty hot too.

Aint that the fuckin truth. no reason to be "scared" of getn pulled over. make the cop laugh and youl be good. unless theyre complete dicks, then u give them a hard time...

man i have to avoid goin thru town, cuz these two cops pull me over for random stuff i never get tickets from them, so i filed a harrassment claim with the department but no word yet
