Hmm. I dont know if these are fire proof or not dude. I'd roll Simpson or Sparco driving a sprinter. Watching the World of Outlaws back in the day it seemd like they caught fire everytime they wrecked...LOL
I am sure you know exactly what you need though.

Let me know if you actually get them Graham. I was going to pick these up a few weeks ago, but I have heard of some people being overcharged on the shipping and not receiving product.
By overcharged I mean, they say its $10 to ship and charge you like $30...
Let me know tho dude, I want some!

I'd order a pair if I didn't just spend $80+ on a pair of Puma driving shoes.

they also are narrower so you can move them comfortably between pedals, and have a thinner sole so you can actually feel the pedals.

Too bad I have "Extra-Wide" feet. According to New Balance I wear 12 EEEE, so these aren't in my size.
Good call though!

So many neons so little time.

Oh well rung 4 on the weirdest ladder to F1 you've ever seen
Oh I maintain a pair of high top converse (green preferably) are about the best feeling driving shoe Ive ever worn, too bad they arent fire proof.

have you noticed a decline in quality with these? I used to be able to go a year without having to replace them and then the last two pair have practically fallen apart in about 4 months....
I love these shoes otherwise ... wtf?!?!?!?

well when I road raced and stuff back home I used piloti. These are the first set of Pumas I've owned. I've had them since November and I've had zero issues with them. I wear them to work on occasions and I usually walk over 4 miles a day at work, but for the most part they are for the track.

I wear a size 12, but have no idea how wide. I have no issues with my feet getting tangled in the pedals. I just dislike left foot braking.

I got measured at a shoe store once. I have no real problem wearing regular width shoes. I dont left foot brake mostly because my leg is too fat to fit under the wheel

I can't heel-toe, but in the 05 and the 98, I just rest my right foot half on the brake and rock my foot to the right to blip the gas on downshift.

Haha, well you'll be happy to know that any new balance sneaker in the extra wide width will fit you. I have to get my work boots from Redwings in 12 wide with a "king toe" box. There are only like 3 models of boots from them I can wear.
MoxHair wrote:Caveman feet

Nope, just flat footed. If I step out of a pool when I walk around it's a straight outline of my foot, no arches.
