No being left handed isn't bad at all, my boyfriend is left handed. But I would think the transition over when you've been right handed so long (or vice versa) would be difficult as all hell.

HOLY SHIT!

I've see some pretty

ing stuff, but the black fingers is what really did me in. But for some reason I can't stop looking... Sorry man, that really really really sucks! So I'm guessing it didn't take when they reattached them. Good luck with the recovery, hopefully it will be quick.

Ah, skin grafts! I have some nice ones from burns. At least for your hand, they shouldn't have to remove too much skin for it, if they are using yours.
Hope all went well!

Awesome that you don't need to be grafted! That can be very painful and painstaking if it doesn't take as well as it should. Glad to see it's going good, or as good as it can considering the cirumstances.
Just out of curiosity, what do you find the most difficult to do now that you could do with ease before?

Just WOW!
You are both unlucky and lucky at the same time:
Unlucky that it happened but,
Lucky that it wasn't worse or infected with gangreen (sp?) or something when the fingers were rejected.
I'm sure it will be an adjustment but you should be able to do a lot of things you used too, just with some minor modifications.
Good luck man!

I didn't need the graft because it closed on it's own. I lost both fingers and metacarpal bones.

i have been driving, i didn't drive for a week. It's rough cuz i have no power steering but i can do it.. Also the day they told me i was losing my fingers for sure me and my girlfriend got into a wreck on the way home from the doctor.
Some ricer with a black 95 civic decided to lock up the brakes and turn into the median, my girlfriend locked up the brakes and we hit him in the rear quarter panel. It was his fault and he had no insurance, my insurance payed me and now they gotta sue him for the money. Ill post pics of the damage its not that bad ruined my bumper sidemarker and fender....
