He just had major reconstructive jaw surgery, and they changed his internet policy at work, so he has no allowance to do it at work, and little time to get on at home, cause he is too busy sticking foods in a blender so he can eat them through a straw
Good enough reason

Yea, I knew about the surgery. I just talked to him for a while through txts. Cuz him and I are too 1337 for talking on phones.
I said weak sauce, and maybe, just maybe, he will chime in here with some sort of smartass comment to my recent posting.

I think everyone should text/pm/post pictures of sushi, hamburgers, steak, all the good stuff that he is missing so much! I know he is really enjoying his all liquid diet and would love pictures of real food!
Also, he's a jerk. He broke my 360!

It's the lazy man's dream diet!
If someone would toss it all in the blender for ya so you don't have to get up off the couch, that is.

I'm back.
Yeah, I had some jaw surgery. They cut my jaw on both sides, moved it to the right and back then reattached it with a plate and 4 screws on each side. Spent a night in the hospital with me punching the morphine button every so often to help with the pain. I was supposed to be there two nights but they saw that I was eating and walking around so they said I could go home early. Fine by me... makes the stay cheaper. After that I was home for about two weeks on Loritab and Amoxicillin and ice packs surrounding my jaw. I was only able to get a few hours of sleep at a time from the pain and discomfort of having to sleep upright to keep the swelling down. The swelling was huge and felt like I gained 600lbs in my lower face. I have to say... there isn't a damn thing on during daytime TV except The Price is Right. I was on an all liquid diet up until last week and right now I can at least eat mushy foods which is nice but still not to my goal of a nice big juicy steak or slice of pizza.
I still have pain on my right side which is where they did the most moving around. Hopefully it's not the joint thats causing the pain and instead just the muscle still healing but only time will tell. I can only open my a little more than a fingers width and it turns when I get to a certian point in opening my jaw. At least I can slowly eat spagetti, mash potatos, and other soft foods but it still sucks.
Oh well... either way, hopefully it gets better with time...

He's back- hooray! Sorry for the pain and discomfort (and lousy daytime TV

) but you're still going to make it to Carlisle, right? Even if you might not be saying much?

I'm going to try my best. I still have about a week and a half of vaca time so as long as there isn't more surgery to fix the cause of the pain then I should be okay... I hope.
I can still talk though, just can't open my jaw very wide right now.

I've gotten quite a few pictures of food lately. I miss my steak and sushi.
Last night I alternated hot and cold on it for awhile and it feels a bit better. Still has some pain but not as much of the shooting pain as before. It still feels pretty tense and hard to open once it gets to a point so I'm crossing my fingers it's just muscle and still not the joint.

That makes my jaw hurt, and there's nothing wrong with it!
