Seriously these things are no fun if anything Im like sadder and more depressing than usual and my back hurts just as bad as it did before them. Am I doing something wrong?

Oh my god I friggin hate them....I get ridiculously ill on them I can't fathom them for recreational usage. But usually the addiction comes along when they are used in a different way than intended or along with something else.

Try having a beer or two with them, then you'll understand why some people like them.

Plus, when taken properly (and obviously your 'scrip isn't strong enough or something) you can barely feel anything. It's that feeling of nothingness people enjoy.

really? because i used to be an avid vicodin eater/drinker

something about sitting around in my underwear, watching family guy with the girlfriend with a good body buzz, humping like rabbits made me love them

that was several years ago though. i don't touch hardly anything aynmore.

I work in the methadone industry, software to be exact.

Basically people can become addicted to opiates easily. In their mind its helping them, and doctors keep prescribing, and bam they are addicted. The rec people who get addicted is the same thing. They like it and keep taking it.

Its very easy to get addicted to, any opiate is.

All there is to it really.

even using them as a script for a long enough time then trying to come off them blows

Ugh I hate the little buggers. I'd rather do without, except for extreme situations, than risk getting hooked. My last surgery I used about 1/4 of the vicodin prescription and then destroyed the rest as soon as I could do without.

The only 'pain pills' I take are Advil and that's only when I'm in SERIOUS pain. No recreational use for me, I'm good with being high on life :-D

+1
I usually take Bayer myself. But thats only if I am really really sore or I ahve a bad headache which doesn't really happen to often. I just take one too.

I could see someone getting addicted to it then their body develops an immunity to it and they need more and more and more to rid the pain away. :(

You shouldn't be sore boneyard you are still a youngin.
