I can see dumping Saab and Hummer, not Saturn or killing Pontiac.
Pontiac is a staple in american history. But the G5, Torrant and another car i think should go. the solstice, G6 and G8 should be kept alive.

Olds, Plymouth were also American Staples.
All companies will eventually go bye bye. Some quicker than others. If dumping Pontiac or whatever makes the American car companies better off then so be it.

word from a Pontiac service manager is that Saturn is going away but not Pontiac. At most there will be cutbacks in the pontiac production line.
and the sky is not that great of a car, its unstable in tight turns and not that fast. Autox tells it all.

Pontiac should just be kept to produce the G8 and the El Camino style one they were supposed to bring out.
Aaaanuld should buy out hummer
And saturn should just be hybrids n tree hugger cars

seems like ford is still sitting there and doing nothing. GM, then Chrysler, so what will happen to Ford? i read on the magazine that Ford is buying Aston Martin brand... i wonder if there's any chance because they cannot even survive!...

Ford had enough equity to take out private loans way before the bailouts happened.
