Looked at her torn apart tring to fix the Drivers door that won't close now... My new battery is now Dead... WTF I have to get a battery tender I guess. And figure out if they bent the door or what...

well.. yesterday actually.. but what i did:

*Drove 450 miles in total
*replaced (slightly damaged) hood for an undamaged one
*brought my old one to a guy who wanted it for some custom neon job
*picked up brake discs, brake pads and brake shoes
*installed brake discs and pads on another guys neon
*replaced my brake shoes
*Had lots of fun with three neons driving the highway

*went to a show where my band had to perform

came around a corner on wet roads and grabbed a handful of e-brake. First time with the new coilovers & alignment and it started off like usually but then the sumabitch come all the way round on me (180) ...didn't hit nuthin and nobody was round (er I wunt a dun it).

Just ripped the timing belt off... the bolts in the camgear wernt even tightened so thats why it felt like the thing was slipping..

Going to home depot soon to buy new bolts for it..

No, no no. Those bolts need to be made of a steel that's stronger than the original Neon head gaskets. I don't trust home depot fasters for anything besides building dog houses, etc. Stuff where you can use an extra 50 if necessary. Don't get me wrong, I love their cutoff wheels, etc. I'm certainly not a Home Depot protestor.

Well what did I do to my neon today...I was on my way home from work when the fuel light came on...I pulled into the petrol station and got out...I had some rubbish in the car and I was gong to throw it in the bin...From here that's where my mind went mental...

All I remember was the petrol pumping...I looked around and said to myself, where the frig is my Gas cap???

I swear guys my mind went haywire...I couldn't remember taking it off...I'm thinking F**K someone stole it, but how? it locks with the key...
So anyways pissed off, I went to pay for the petrol...I also bought for $1.50 a plastic emergency cap to cover the hole...Total cost for petrol and cap $51.50 (5150) isn't that mental code or something??? Weird!

Anyways I left to go pick up my daughter...when I got to where she was I put my hand in my pocket and all the rubbish I was going to throw in the bin was still in my pocket???

Don't tell me I unconsciously threw away the Gas Cap in the bin instead of the rubbish (just paper rubbish)??

I drove straight back to the station, looked in the bin and low and behold there's my Gas Cap...I didn't even realize I threw it away!!!

Talk about loosing your mind!
