broke my third clutch pedal bushing today and decided to make my own out of a nylon spacer, washer and an e-clip.
Seems to work, so hopefully there are no long term problems

1. Installed the leather armrest that I bought from 1972demon (it looks great Ben!).
2. Used a toothbrush and Dawn to clean the engine bay (anywhere I could fit the toothbrush, no lie, very exhausing in this heat
).
3. Used generic Q-Tips to clean out the A/C louvers and around the screws inside of the door pulls (the driver's door pull looked like someone had picked his nose in the little groove around the screw- YUCK!).
4. Discovered that where Ziebart drilled a hole for rustproofing the rear driver's side doorsill is rusting just like its counterpart on the passenger side.
Guess that I'll have to make another trip to Ziebart for sanding/repainting when I get back from Carlisle.

this weekend I drove 800 miles to the european neon meeting in germany, topping it multiple times at 210km/h.
One way trip of 400 miles took me 6 hours, including stops

I did nothing for my 2nd gen today....I worked on a friend's 2nd gen SXT instead.
However, I grabbed a funnel and put it in the trunk of my 2nd gen, to keep it there for when I put additives into the gasoline. (think Lucas Injector cleaner, Marvel Mystery Oil, etc.)
The poor 2nd gen has been somewhat neglected, while I finish parting out my old '95 Neon and CLEANING OUT my junkyard of a garage.
Then, it will be the 2nd gen to get it's turn in the garage, for some badly needed TLC. ( Timing Belt, and Lower Control Arm Bushings !!!! )

Adjusted the dampening on my COs to get a more "neutral" setup.
