v6's are gay. Keep it 4 banger and put a turbo on it.

That "neon" on the back looks photochopped.

Not feeling the "cross" on the grille like all the damn dodges have. Also not feeling the fender flares.

Would be cool if they did bring it back and made a sweet performance version of course.
Go to Fiat's Website, this car exists and is sold in Latin American countries, and I think it was a joint venture with some company in Turkey. I can't remember the cars name right now. Oh yeah, the Linea is its name. It may be built in Brazil? This car was featured in an article about a month ago on Fiat cars that might be sold as Chryslers in the USA.
There seems to be something wrong with our bloody ships today, and something wrong with our bloody system as well.
the brits know whats up.

From the scuttlebutt on the 'net I'm hearing that Chrysler dealerships will have the Fiat 500 in their showrooms in a coupla years.

If there is a new Neon it may be based on a stretched Fiat 500.

The thing pictured above has shades of the Caliber at the front which just doesn't go with the "roundness" of the Neon theme.

As well, if Chrysler do badge another vehicle as the "Neon" it better be a home run because if it is anything less they might as well bury the Neon name for good.

There are plenty of folks around with a bad opinion of the Neon. Heck, I used to be one of that crowd.

I want a rear drive neon SRT4...just test drove a 2.0T Genesis Coupe and was not impressed...was hoping for more, a lot more!

JDM side mirrors yo...lol

It would look 100X better with the side moldings removed. And the fender flares are a bit too much. The front end and rear end could use a little touch up. Overall, I think it looks pretty decent. Not bad at all.

3300lbs I believe and about 189-190 at the wheels. My Neon is 2600lbs and only 126 to the wheels but it is more fun than the Genesis.

Fiat Linea

^^^^^click it

Engines
The engines equipping the new Fiat Linea are based on a perfect balance between performances and fuel consumption: muted engines, responsive and spirited to meet driver demands in any situation.
Two engines are available at present: the 1.4 petrol delivering 77 bhp and the 1.3 Multijet diesel with a power output of 90 bhp. They will soon be flanked by the 90 bhp 1.3 Multijet with DualogicTM robotised gearbox and the 1.4 Turbo T-jet, fuelled with petrol and delivering 120 bhp, the quintessence of technology and power mated to fuel economy.

With proper visual modifications they can look gorgeous. Are they really that bad? I'd like something more refined than my SRT in the future, raw power eventually gets old

Fail. Make it look like a retro 1GN and it might fly. Those mock-up photos look like a remodeled Stratus or Cirrus, not a Neon. And no RWD!

I don't understand why they would ever name a new car "Neon." Most people hear "Neon" and they think of all the issues with the first gen cars. It doesn't have the lineage of "Corolla" "Civic" "Sentra" etc.

Sure there are a few of us who had no issues with our Neons but the majority of people do not see the car in the same light and using the name this early would probably be a mistake.

This photoshop is just too Blah feeling. Nothing stands out about it. Way too boring.

I want to see a light weight RWD coupe under the Dart or Demon name badge...do what Hyundai tried to do with the Genesis and failed (too heavy and not enough powah)

The v6 is heavier but has more power. The 2.0T has potential to make A LOT more power, which is why I was interested, but I don't want to drop 25K on a car and then have to put another 5-10k into it, just to make it fun...I can get a lot more car for the $$$ on the used market (350Z or a vette)
