Since we got the Rita thing going on, gas prices are creaping up again. In my town it has went from 2.67 to 2.99 in one day. How about you? I have heard we will be seeing 4 bucks or more a gallon this time around.

Oil companies are gouging the gas prices, to hit $3 a gallon the oil has to be around $95 a barrel, when in reality the price per barrel is only $65 (on average) this means gas should be about $2.05 a gallon.
Justin- I have nothing but smart ass remarks to add.

85% of gas prices are based on what "could" happen, not on what "is" happening. We were down to 2.74/ gallon... Now its nearing 2.90 agian...

I think its about time for a revolt.

No one in this country realizes that at times like this, gas stations are making one or two cents on the gallon. That's not even enough to pay the utilities.
