oh yeah, with a swap like a 2jz or even from a gs 300 they have potential. but you can get potential out of most things with tons of money. I meant in stock form. I don't think this guy has the juice to cover that swap, then the go fast parts, tuning etc etc etc. I could be wrong.jrumann59 wrote:Unless you drop a 2JZ motor into them, the 2JZ came as an option for them in Japan. Yes a direct swap would be costly but it can be done the same way as a 2.4 swap can be srt'd. The block itself is the same as the 2jz and all that needs to be sourced are the internals and the turbo and a few incidentals. Yes it is a Toyota but like many SRT owners they are off in their own fantasy land.sidepipe87 wrote:oh yeah, with a swap like a 2jz or even from a gs 300 they have potential. but you can get potential out of most things with tons of money. Canada, unless I call someone a name... it's not hate or anger. Sarcasm? SURE.
Just because I don't agree with everyone, I choose to stand my ground on my opinion, and I present fact in the face of opinion doesn't make me mean.

True. It's the hurtful sounding comments that make you sound mean. Now whether you are or not is another story...PhillyLS1 wrote:Canada, unless I call someone a name... it's not hate or anger. Sarcasm? SURE.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

You know I'm a rational person. When anyone says something that makes sense to me I acknowledge it. What you just said is crap. Plain and simple crap.
I take that as a compliment.PhillyLS1 wrote:.... I'm not a miracle worker.Pocahontas wrote:And you've taken it upon yourself to help me grow mine?PhillyLS1 wrote: Backbones are grown, not taught.

You criticize people as much as I do. The difference is you talk your way around it. The first time someone does something you don't like you retreat into your head, fold your arms, and make it perfectly clear you're not happy. Instead of talking about it you tap your foot and make faces.Pocahontas wrote: Passive aggresive? When the hell have I shown you passive aggresive?
OOOOOOHHH "when it makes sense to YOU" So only when it meets your approval? Egomaniac lol.Pocahontas wrote:You know I'm a rational person. When anyone says something that makes sense to me I acknowledge it. What you just said is crap. Plain and simple crap.
Maybe I should quote everything out of a book, instead of having an original thought "so it makes sense to you." I'll just add my $0.02 to everything with "Studies have found" and "back in 1882."
Of course it doesn't make sense to ya. That's the difference between being taught and having experience.
That's your right.Pocahontas wrote:I take that as a compliment.

I can't claim I don't criticize people. I'm sure I've told people things about them before. That's not being passive aggressive.PhillyLS1 wrote:You criticize people as much as I do. When I retreat into my head, I'm thinking about the conversation and trying to work through it to see if I missed something or if I misunderstood something. I don't make faces, this is the only face I have when I'm not smiling. I'm sorry if it's not up to your standards. And the only time I've EVER tapped my foot was when I was recreating a scene from "Legally Blonde."
It's not just me. It's everyone. A person only accepts something when it makes sense to them.PhillyLS1 wrote:OOOOOOHHH "when it makes sense to YOU" So only when it meets your approval? You do make faces. I'm the only one with the balls to tell you. Everyone else just doesn't want to create static. And don't try the self deprecation routine. Starting a sentence with "I'm sorry if" is PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE. Look it up in one of those textbooks you're so fond of. But thank you for proving my point..... again.Pocahontas wrote: I can't claim I don't criticize people. I'm sure I've told people things about them before. That's not being passive aggressive.

There are things beyond your scope of acceptance that you still will not budge on yet you will still argue. That's your id getting in the wayPocahontas wrote: It's not just me. It's everyone. A person only accepts something when it makes sense to them.

I didn't know I made faces. Since I can't see myself make them I'll take your word for it. About the "I'm sorry...," figured since I've been treating you passive aggressively I should actually start doing it.PhillyLS1 wrote: You do make faces. I'm the only one with the balls to tell you. Yeah, sesame street 5th grade facts like what marsupials are.Pocahontas wrote:Hahah. For such a champion ofexperience

It's your right to believe what you want.PhillyLS1 wrote: Wow, that easily manipulated huh?
Kids were taught more thoroughly in your day. Moreover, not to blame my school system, but there are a lot of things that weren't taught in my school. I tried to make it out as best as I could. I guess my teacher thought learning math was more important than learning about specific animal categorizations.PhillyLS1 wrote:Yeah, sesame street 5th grade facts like what marsupials are.Pocahontas wrote:Hahah.
