Hey guys, been a REAL long time since I've been in here, not sure if anyones gonna remember me. Just wanted to stop by and see whats going on with all my old neon buddies. I still have my neon but it is up for sale. After years of bad luck, the neons not doing so well, still runs fine but looks like absolute hell. It's been hit 14 times, and not one of those times did the person leave a note. The R/D hood I got in 2003 started pealing and faded badly! Plus the millions of dents it has that the pictures don't even show. Here are some pictures of how it looks now, it's sad to look at considering what it used to look like:
Here's what it used to look like if you guys remember:
And here is what I have now:
1998 BMW 740IL, I absolutely love it!

SO sad to see such a clean neon get beat up like that! I like that blue too!
I was about to suggest grabbing a fender from certifit for $30, but then I scrolled down and saw the rear fender damage, and I was like "damn, nevermind."

I sold the Datsun, it was fun for awhile but I needed money at the time for a hospital bill, plus the guy I sold it to lives down the street and has put way more time and energy in it than I did.

The Neon looks like ish. Oh well. Good commuter in place of that 7 series. That sucker is pimp. Chicks dig em.

Of course I do, summer of 06, the neon still looked pretty good. I was reppin the 2gn sticker too! Im good grambo, how are you doing? Still rolling the STI?
I love the Bimmer though, rides so nice, so much room and has TONS of power to spare. Only thing is gas isn't so nice, but it's not too bad compared to the neon.
Plus chicks dig the long wheelbase.

Haha. Things are great. I have 0 complaints in my life man. And yes, the STI is still rollin'. I've got a thread somewhere with pics and crap. Spent a ton of $$$ on JDM fun.
Anyway, I am a 5 series man myself. 7's are cool but I 've always had a soft spot for a 5 series with a Dinan badge. ;]

n2m, just workin full time still, now ASE certified in brakes and suspension. Whats up with you?
Grambo: My first choice was at 540I with a 6 speed, but they are somwhat rare and kind of expensive. Than I saw this and sprung for it. I've got some suspension mods going in soon, here's what I want it to look like when it's done:
I've got the same coilovers in as soon as the neon sells!

THAT SUCKS!!!! I am so glad that up here in Canada we don't have to pay for medical expenses...I would just tell the doctors to let me die before I sold my car to pay them...I just can't imagine not having Health Care....
But you wouldn't have a pic of that old Datsun? just curious to see it is all...

What else would you pursue, I was thinking the same thing but after paying for schooling, I dunno what else to go for.
I work at Firestone still, very comfortable there and I'm actually making good money now after 4 years, if we actually have business.

Sounds like we have similar issues. I wish I had the money to go back to school and take it one step further and become an engineer of some sort. Better pay and way more challenging. Gotta have money to make money I guess. Business has been shitty at work, but at least it's better than it was during winter! I know what you mean about being comfortable though. The economy sure made it an easier choice to stay put and sit on the seniority.
