The fact that the infant is alive is remarkable considering it was "delivered" prematurely and in the worst sort way. It must have been a bloodbath. I think that the law of innocent by reason of insanity should be changed to guilty by reason of insanity. Ms. Corey is clearly criminally insane, IMHO. She needs to be put away forever. To all that have come up with various ways to torture Corey: You're minds are working in the same vein as hers, and that type of twisted logic and phantasmagorical violence contribute to the overall violent atmosphere in our world. I always had an idea...tell me what you think...

If a person commits a horrible crime (murder, rape, kidnapping.. something like that) and they are found guilty by a court. I think that the guilty party and the victum or family member of the victum should be put in a room together and give the victum/family member something like 10 or 20 minutes alone with no witnesses and what ever they decide to do is the punishment that the guilty person recieves...if they are alive and are after that time then they are free to go back into society.
So if they have their eyes taken or limbs or a beating like no other they are free...and if they dont' "survive" when the time is up then...so be it...its' sorta like the "eye for an eye" idea but no weapons are allowed...I don't know...just a thought...probably a sick one and no one will like it but it's just something that helps free society from the costs of jailing and or executing the guilty person.

So its wrong to kill the first woman but morally correct to kill the other one back? In the end twice the number of people are dead.

For all of the death penalty supporters out there I have a question:
What if somebody who is genuinely innocent is executed? Then everybody who supported the execution is now a murderer therefore you support your own execution?

Its happened about a dozen people who were executed were found innocent after the fact based on modern evidence and/or science.

All this being said what happened to that mother and child is despicable may the woman who did this rot in a jail cell pretending to "find Jesus" for the rest of her days

Yeah that is a good point...but when your found quilty now a days with the science there hasn't been a "false conviction" so that issue is now an expired problem.
So by your thinking a police officer that shoots someone because they "think" they have a gun is a murderer because when the investigation reveals that it's a hair dryer...false conviction and that results in an execution?...kkinda the same idea to me at least....

And i think it's worse that she gets to live the rest of her life sucking off of society helping the system on waisting money and resources on her when that money could be used to help people before that happens and in much worse of times like "Katrina" imagine the millions saved if you execute people instead of spending it one people who will forever spend life in jail getting Bacholors degrees and PHD's and that in jail...
Malaysia i believe it is that if your found drunk driving the officer executes you on the spot..the reason they do this is that you as the drunk person have risked and could have killed others so they eliminate the problem right there...

well there was an update today cause it's a pretty big news story around here right now.

The baby is doing fine and the woman's bail was set at 2 million. They are waiting to see when she will be extradited to mass.

she tried to plead insanity but she got the slap in the face. Jail for the rest of her life.

But no offense to the USA in general but I agree with that Michael Moore...there has got to be something wrong with the american society in general..you's have the most hanest crimes and we as Canadians have way more guns and mixed nationalites and beliefs...I just don't understand it personally..Just glad that my town don't have this stuff..I can only remember one murder in my town about 10 years ago and it was an out of towner that did it...
