I can say one thing:

You certainly won't be able to get a $50 polished intake manifold for an LS engine.

yeah, i went there

You're a dick  $4.37 can of chrome spay paint and chrome intake.

You guys are kind of missing what I want the car for I have the Monza for a race car, the vette will only see track action when I dont feel like loading up the trailer or the monza is broken. That said it wont quite be a DD even though it gets better millage than the blazer is suppose to.

Its not a flawed attempt at coolness either honestly everybody I know is more excited that I finally am getting a truck than about any other car Ive owned. Its just a fun toy for me

Ive decided that I didnt strike gold with the CSRT4 review I did and the only thing I can write about is cars so Im chronicaling the corvette purchase hopefully with some good humor. Read what I just threw together

My newest automotive affliction began 3 weeks ago at a local autocross. Little did I know this day would change my life. I was given a ride in Dave Walter’s Hooiser shod C6 Z06, never before had I felt such performance and frankly it was just menacing giggling like a maniac while going that quickly can change a man and it changed me. As I sat in the hot pit trying to find a door handle (there isn’t one I learned) I realized damn the expense, damn the impractalicity, and, most of all damn those who say its not a supercar. This led on a long journey of cars that cost about $40,000 more than I can get a loan for(Yes Im buying my supercar on credit and frankly I don’t care

More tomorrow Im going driving

Anybody who has suggested a Neon SRT-4 over a C5 Z06 is a dumbass as long as the price is not a factor.

It's already been said, but deserves to be repeated.

RWD>FWD
8 cyl>4 Cyl

And I'd also like to add:

6 spd>5 spd
385 hp>230 hp
2001 Z06 - VRX3 cam, longtubes, B&B exhaust, RPM trans, CCW Classics, etc etc etc

Too many old people have vettes lol.

I'd choose srt just cuz I want one and really don't want a vette. But something like Porsche or maybe even a challenger would come before srt if money doesnt matter.

Just don't like vettes anymore.

^^Corvette's new version of T-tops. It's awesome as the one I drove had a slot behind the seat for the roof panel to ride nicely.

The newer the better...unless you go pre-1980

The place I stopped had a few C3s as well and they just do nothing for me. I realized I painted the perfect picture too, the sales lady that went with me was all old and shit but not too bad looking. Never since the evo I drove had I found something so easy to drive so fast. I didnt get the HUD for a minute because I didnt think I could be going that fast. The interior is the worst part of the car and frankly its not that bad

And there is my point proven

Oh Im interviewing for a job as you guessed it a car salesman next week

This is a bit dry and short right now I have to work on it:

This led me to begin a search for a good C4 and guess what they are cheap like really cheap, lets go for a drive ah there is a reason for the cheapness its terrible, its slow, the brakes are an embarrassment on any sports car, it feels like it made from truck parts this car almost changed my mind.

However I couldn’t change that feeling I had getting out of the Z06 even the C4 as bad as it was I stepped out with the same feeling. On the same lot as this C4 sits a completely standard completely base C5, its everything I ever wanted truly automotive perfection. Ive never felt so happy behind the wheel of a car. Everything is arranged perfectly just as it should be in a sports car, every control feels connected to the chassis, I got so lost in this car I cant put it into words, finally you look down at the speedo and you’re doing a multiple of the speed limit without you or the car complaining.

I found my car!!! Red 01 z06 LG pro long tubes, some sort of cats, no mufflers, B&M short throw $19,995 the mysterious tap from the engine that makes the car so cheap is a melted plug wire(if you have a C5 with headers leave the factory heat shields on the wires please)

It sounded like I was at Le Mans on the test drive everybody should hear a straight pipe LSx at full tilt. Im going to burn that shifter way too short and notchy.

A line from the review:
Tonight a giant fiberglass penis melted my heart
