Happy special number day everone!
http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/200 ... noAwiCfNdF

time to party!
Or not. It ruins the "specialness" of it when you write the year out with all four digits: 09.09.2009. I guess they forgot about that.
What does everyone think of "this special numbers day" hullabaloo? I say it's just that: hullabaloo.

The new Beatles box set comes out today so I have to make a trip to the post office tonight after I get off work. I guess that makes today special.

I am extremely tempted to get The Beatles Rock Band video game for Wii.
I'll have to look up this box set and maybe buy it.

^^So how did we miss that? Happy birthday!

Yeah, about that- I've got a bone to pick with your employer. Last month, I checked BestBuy.com for their pre-order price for the Beatles box set. I ended up pre-ordering it from Collector's Choice Music since their price was lower than BestBuy.com. Long story short, the Best Buy Sunday circular this weekend showed a price that was over $10 less than what I paid at CCM. Had I known that Best Buy was going to offer a lower in-store price than the website, I would have just stood in line at store opening Wednesday morning.

What gives?

We don't advertise a special price until the week of the sale. Bestbuy.com will always have MSRP before an item is available for sale.

^^Thanks for the explanation. I'll not be so eager to pre-order something like that in the future then. Oh, sorry that all of the EMI-Capitol-Apple promotion stuff for the remasters, box set and Rock Band got to you. Everything will be back to normal soon.

What would you do if I sang out of tune? Would you stand up and walk out on me? Lend me your ears and I'll sing you a song, and I'll try not to sing out of key.
We're trying to get Mox to start his own "Revolution"
