So i've decided that i'm planning on going to Carlisle 2010. And am way in Northern ontario and will be going by quite a few members towns on my way...so I am attaching a link to the path that I want to take and want to offer anyone a chance to join my convoy to Carlisle...just tell me who you are and where you live and we will work the details out to get everyone that is on the way...or wants to meet us on the route on the way.

technicaly this is the wrong section for this, and as per usual the convoy will most likely include, myself, canada, blackrose racing, and dtjackten wants to join in. we might have an american comin back to canada with us but im not sayin who

Why do you need to crash, especially at so many places? Mapquest puts it at 13hrs of driving, which means it's more than doable in one straight shot.

And how many times do I have to tell you you're not "northern" ontario. Hell, you're barely 4hrs out of Toronto.

You will save yourself a few miles (not many) and mucho traffic grief if you go down via Kingston rather than through Toronto.

I am nothern Ontario cause that's what they sign downtown says..."gateway to the north" North Bay is the beggining of the north.
And crashing in a tent saves about 150-200 on a hotel for the stay unless i leave my place at like 11pm the night before dodge_girl and do the full 12-13 hour drive in one day.

The Kingston route means I miss everyone in the Toronto, Aurora, and that route area for convoy partners...I would like to do that trip with others (great pic potential that way) But thanks for the route suggestion...would go that way if dg, Canada, and others from canada weren't going.

Hmm you pass right through my city, I may just have to go. Any idea how much Carlisle costs like average with hotel, admission, and all that. I know like nothing about it

13 hour drive? Bah, that's not too bad. When I used to drive from Indianapolis to Toronto on vacations, it took about 13 hours and that was with a lot of breaks en route (ate at a Tim Horton's as soon as I got across the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor- it was a tradition!).

yeah but up my was is pretty bad for animals...and no 13 hours isn't horrible but was hoping that rest could help with gettin my party on when i arrive at carlisle lol

Jason put a ban on any Carlisle thread until, at least, later this year...otherwise the threads get insanely long and filled up with all sorts of off-topicness (which they will anyway). Plus we need a damn break!

That said, I'll allow it...for a little longer. Get IBTL!

i could meet right in bath ny, if i would go to carlilse myself i would have to drive there anyway. so i might as well meet up with u guys there.... i am like five hours from carlisle, so it will not be till about two or three till u guys drive by
