I don't see why not. He's getting in his last words since we're all sitting here going: "ZOMG WHAT HAPPENDZ!??!?!" It's not like he's gonna be using her account all the time. If you read the last part of his post he said that his gf will be updating his stuff from now on.

He was banned not because of one specific thread or issue but a collective amount since joining the forum many months ago. While you won't agree with our decision the reasoning behind it is that we the staff feel he contributed more towards starting drama on the forum than actual information.

I'm all for sharing your opinions on the forum and we're not banning him for his opinions, it's how he made his opinions known. I don't expect people to sugarcoat their thoughts but I feel there is a point of being polite and considerate of others without having to sugarcoat things.

what's there to discuss?

forums have moderators for a reason. they were chosen because they can make an unbiased opinion.

you all got together, had a discussion, gave a vote, and made a decesion. you did what's in the best interest for 2gn.

i see no reason to discuss this at all.

I'm disappointed that Keith was banned. I can see why he was placed under the category of "trolling" because he usually didn't say anything 'nicely.' But it’s the delivery, not the content of his message, which created controversy; thereby invalidating the charge of ‘trolling’ according to the board rules. Furthermore, even when he did post something that was directly meant to ridicule a trend on the forums which deviated from the usual functions we all try to enforce, his gag threads were created in the Off-Topics section, in which the board rules stipulate that anything goes except for nudity.

I understand that the difficult decision was reached democratically and that the majority wished to ban, so this is all I’m going to say on that matter.

However, I protest Krista being banned. It's wrong that Krista can no longer participate even though she didn't break any of the forum rules. I understand she didn’t participate much before but it’s the principle of the matter. Someone can’t be punished for the actions of others. We are all adults. I'm sure Keith was simply trying to defend himself one last time and that he wasn't planning on spending all of his time impersonating his girlfriend. I humbly request her ban to be removed.

He lacked respect when being truthful. Even if that is an accurate depiction of his personality, it is still trolling. When in public you have to play by the rules.

She did not have to let Philly post under her screen name. posting underanother screen name = trolling.

took long enough. I drew the line with his antics when he started posting extremely personal stuff I trusted him with, on here before carlsile.

ive delt with his shit for a few years and since carlsile til now hes just proved how much of a tool he can be. Because he totally knows more than the rest of us as a collective right? he was only on here to help... help start shit. he does the same shit on SRTforums cept on there its all about how much he hates Calibers.

People claim, oh hes just being sarcastic... but he lives to start shit. He has a horribly askew god complex that is given to him by people validating his behavior.

MOST, if not all forums I post on, are the same way. If you get banned and then jump to a friends account to post, you're both banned.

It's a risk he took... and it's not like she posted anyhow. She had what under 10 post count? Now I think we are just nit picking for arguement sake.

Moderators and Admins are there for a reason, to make the decisions that most people don't want to make. It's to keep the forum members happy and to keep this forum running. Jason has done a damn good job for this long and it's been a pretty drama free forum.

I'm not for or against Philly, but if Jason saw it fit to ban him, I stand by his decision 100%. He is the one that pays the bills around this place.

Fact is, we, as the general population, don't see everything that goes on behind closed doors, (and after hearing of Jason's donkey shows, I'm thankful for that) so we have to trust that they do in fact know what they're doing...

If you don't trust them to do their jobs here, perhaps you shouldn't be trusted to post here.

I talk to many members on AIM, text message, and whatnot.. They all have the same opinion as this is getting ridiculous.

Josh, I totally agree.

When I found 2gn, I was coming from neons.org, with the way the guys over there were "mean" to me in my mind. 4 years later I've really grown up, and I see where the attitude comes from. I've stopped coming here for technical advince, only to give it. And to think, that I got on this forum, and into this community because of a car I bought. The best car people I've met have been neon people. Out of all the car people I've met and/or helped, I've helped the most neon guys, specifically 2gn people. Ask caustic neon who I just drove 140 miles for, and spent a full day working on his car to change the clutch out. Or ask Fuzzy how many times he called me asking technical questions, or info for the header install he did.
