 :-( So many neons are crapping out lately.

I'm not sure if insurance covers that. I think Nick's did...maybe. You have to PROVE that was the reason though so don't take it apart! Sorry to hear man.

do you have a CAI?

if so, no, you're fucked and have to pay it out of pocket

if it's stock airbox, you might get lucky

That's terrible! Where were you at? Trying to navigate around the I-465/I-69 closure has been a mess (for those who don't know, a propane tanker had an accident on an overpass and exploded on Thursday).

The important question is: What kind of insurance do you have? Liability or Comp/Coll?

does anyone know if insurance covers engine failure dew to hydrolock ?

My insurance covered it, but the catch is are you aftermarket parts covered under your plan??

I recieved a new enging due to all my aftermarket parts were covered, now I pay an extra amount to have this...

Sorry to hear that happened to ya.. Don't feel bad, when it happened to me my dad was following me and stopped to help, his first instinct was to turn the car over to "push" the water out.... well that just made it worse... .

I hear you there, but is your intake covered on your insurance, because if its not ( and your agent is a dick) then no your engine will not be covered, due to non OEM parts on the car. They will say - "well if the stock intake was on the car, your car would be working right now" (that is just an example). I would say if you have the OEM intake lying around swap it in before the adjuster sees the car and give it a try..

I hope that makes more sense for ya.
