so i read today about dodge getting rid of 3 dodge models. the dodge caliber is gonna be gone in 2012 along with the dodge viper which will end in 2010. but on the good side they said they will be releasing a new small car in partership with fiat. maybe the next neon? of course it wont be called a neon but i think everyone knows where im going with this.

ummm dodge said a while ago they were stopping the viper then they said recently they weren't gonna get rid of it because it's an icon for dodge. So idk they need to make up their damn minds.

making a unibody mid-size truck is just plain stupid. i can see where this is going.

Importing a Fiat and pasting a "Dodge" badge on it is not a replacement for the Neon. Building a vehicle in the US that is inexpensive to buy, has quality and is fun to drive- even if it is a rebadged Fiat- might be remotely similar to a new Neon.

i just hope if they do come out with a new (neon) they dont hack it up like subaru did with the STI

Just to correct the previous posts, the viper is stopping production in 2010 with 500 final models. But it will be back with a new generation in 2012.

An old member isn't willing to give up their "date registered and post count", they would do what opi did and just change their name.
