I heard about this too, and it really does suck that this had happened within our own country.

As much as I don't like the Army (because I'm a bias Marine), this really saddens me to see a damn serviceman kill his own soldiers.

Reports are that the bastard is here at FT Sam now. I was in Virginia when this happened. Was at a conference and the head Chaplain (Major General Carver) for the army was there and his Blackberry blew up with calls and messages with in minutes of this happening. He immediately left and went straight to FT. Hood. I can't belive this happened. Here is the really sad part. Chances are he had been in the army around six years. Because he was a sych doc he would have came in a Captain and the promotion to major for them is pretty much automatic. Most of the sych doc's i have dealt with in the army are crazy. The news said he tried to get out of the army but because of the several hundred thousand dollars the army spent sending him to school they would not let him go for a few more years. Whats even more dumb is if he had just kept is mouth shut and done his job he could of stayed at Walter Reid and never deployed. From what i saw he brought all this on himself. they showed video of him at a convenience store wearing full Muslim middle eastern dress. Which if you are an American Muslim you know better then to wear. I have known several Muslim soldiers in my time in the army and none of them ever get made fun of and they never have to deal with the kind of crap he did which tells me he brought it on himself. Its a sad day for sure. my prayers go out to all those hit by this, its one thing to die in combat but its a whole other to be killed standing in line to get shots.

If there is anything GOOD that is coming out of this..... It's that the shooter actually SURVIVED, instead of getting killed himself.

Now, he can face Punishment for what he did......and hopefully, we'll be able to find out what is going on in his mind.

Usually, when mass shootings like this occur, the shooter gets killed, and people never get to find out what is going on in their heads, and what drove them to do, what they did.

Well, I guess he's not going to go to the Koran's version of heaven now.... is he.
