Karma is a sack of fucking bullshit, and if you want to say talking mean to a few random strangers on the internet is some how on the same level as completely ruining a car, you're retarded.racer12306 wrote:karma

Y'all get so damn upset over stuff.
You need to look at the big picture, it's just a car.

It may be just a car but if you don't have much to begin with it's a big deal, OP I'm hoping you have a second car at least. Srry to hear about this, happened to my dads truck a few mo back too, ignorant ppl.

Right, i've never done anything on a scale this large to deserve having this done to me.racer12306 wrote:meh

And i'm really not making that big of a deal about it. It is an injustice to have someone destroy your property then get away with it with no consequences. But i'm sure somehow in your illogical mind that makes sense.
My yellow cars transmission is still messed up, meaning at the moment I have no driveable vehicle and after just paying $700+ for college...wonderful!
I'm not too distraught, i'm just like BLAH. I've put a LOT of effort and time into this car. I wish I could find the fuck that did it.

You're right. Age has everything to do with sentimental value.racer12306 wrote: Maybe when you get a little older and get settled in life you start to realize certain things mean more.
Regardless of vehicle, financial situation, age/experience, his car is totaled. That really sucks.
I'm sure you're four years of extra experience in life have taught you so much more. You're already settled down with big responsibilities, aren't you?
Adionik, you just got that PVO! I say salvage what you can, and pawn the rest off. Sell some interior parts, etc... But you've got an entire front clip that will swap straight over to the yellow. SY SRT FTW.
I know how much time and effort you've plopped in this car since you got it. Now with that PVO, it'd be worth your time to get that repainted, slapped on the yellow, and swap the power over to it. Do ettt!

Not taking sides or jumping in but 4 years of life can be A LOT... I'd say I am a LOT more mature than a 19 year old. I've done things and seen things they haven't even imagined.
Can now continue with the fight.
Sorry to hear bout the car...thats why I put full coverage on everything unless it's a $1,000 or less car.

Adionik, I just logged on and saw your pics. I will have to disagree with Frank (and I've never done that before)- I'm WAY older than you and I would be locked up in a rubber room
if that happened to my car. Props for you keeping a cooler head than I would under these circumstances.

that's all pretty unfair; put yourself in his shoes. come outside to your car, that you appreciate (maybe love) is smashed to bits, when you had done nothing.racer12306 wrote:Y'all get so damn upset over stuff.

i'm not saying you should pity him, but claiming karma is unjust, in that respect, if your car gets hit couldnt i claim karma for your post?
couldnt anybody blame karma on anything?
example:oh i stepped on an ant a year ago, now i've been diagnosed with cancer.
dam dude that really blows good thing you are keeping your head up. if i was closer to you i would bust out my tools and have your yellow neon srt swapped in a weekend bu im all the way over in vegas jeje. just sit down for a minute and analyze things over and think of what you want to do make sure you do this when you are in a calm and relaxed state and im sure that what ever decision you make will be the right one. if there is anything i can do to help you out just pm me bro and dont stress it too much things will be alright.

2004 white dodge neon 2.4 DOHC swapped
2004 red dodge neon srt-4 gone
2000 flat black plymouth neon 2.0 DOHC swapped gone

And apparently y'all seem to forget that I had a hit and run situation a few years ago. Not only was it my Neon, it was also my wifes Beetle that go whacked all in the same shot. So don't give me that put yourself in his shoes BS.
And like John said, 4 years is alot when we are talking about our age bracket.

Posts like this are why some people have little sympathy for Adionik...

well i know that Adionik and i have not had a great past.... but this truely sucks... i remember u on df wanting a srt for so long, and u picked up a bad ass one... and for someone to come and hit it and take off is truely bull shit... i hope that u get everything worked out.... i would think about parting it out if u get time.. swap could always be a possiblity... but somethings r more important in life.... a car can always be replaced... izeros suby that he just got he was lucky to get out with his life... so i can kinda understand what frank is saying.... but it is sad to see something that u worked so hard to get and something u put alot of time and money into get hit by some ass hole odvoiusly not paying attention...
good luck with everything Adionik!

Wow they must have been going at a damn good clip to have done that type of damage. I can't fathom that their radiator wasn't damaged, it must have been hell trying to get their car home. This happened in broad daylight? That really sucks
bigtime. But like everyone else has said, swap the whole engine/transmission into the yellow neon in a weekend or so and part out what you can from this one. Then put full coverage on the neon so you don't have to worry about unfortunate events like these.
Best of luck
