Don't know what to make of this one... It's a 2010 AWD Journey with manufacturer plates, SRT wheels and badge, what are they thinking?

:withstupid: Not too mention the interior looks the exact same as a SXT journey... and the front fascia...heck, the whole car besides the quad exhaust and wheels...

besides the poorly done outside...performance wise it could be a mini srt8 jeep!

It would either be a SRT-4, which it wouldn't because that goes to the Caliber, or a SRT-6. Only these because Journey only comes in a 4 and 6. And I don't see Dodge ever making a soccer mom car a SRT, than again they made the Caliber a SRT

The reason for the goofy badges could be because they used an R/T and made some changes. Could be checking to see if the concept works before they put the money into a full on prototype.

Who say's family cars can't be performance, anyone remember 2.5T Minivans?

Well, you see.....
My theory is that DCX couldn't make enough money selling the cheap SRT-4 / Neon, so what they did, was stop production of this cheap economy car, and replace it with a 'crossover' and try to 'position'/ sell that as an 'economy' car instead.
Also, they made a decision to start selling SUV's and Trucks only.

Maybe they can sell one of these for $50,000-$60,000 or something.
It will be much more profitable !!! ( IF they can actually SELL any of them )

So I suggest that you SRT-4 owners trade your cars in, and buy this peice of $#!T instead. :x

- Nick

P.S. I agree with Frank... There is no reason that Family Sedans (and Vans !) can't be fun.
However, to try to "upscale" the SRT-4 customer into buying a Journey, is NOT going to work, for those people who WANT the nimble handling of the PL body.

Just got smoked by a white Dodge SUV thing! I was just out cruising back to work after grabbing a bite to eat and I got pumbled by some newer 4-door Dodge wagon/SUV looking thing. My 02 SS has been 12.90's with Drag Radials and now it has Blizzacs on the back but everything else was the same.

It was behind me and then beside at a stop light. I did not intend to race the guy but my lane ended about 10 yards ahead so I punched it when the light went green, his fender was at my door m so I banged second and went WOT and he friggin passed me. I merged in behind him and then my turn came up and I got off that road.

WTF. It wasn't a Cherokee SRT8 and it certainly wasn't V8 because it didn't sound like it. It had 5 star rims and quad exhausts..thing was white ?
LOL minivan smokes Cumaro with LS1

It would be c ol to have the Supercharged 6cylinder in it, or maybe F/I of the new Phoenix engine?

New phoenix engine is supposed to be bad-ass from what I hear around the bush.

And dam.. I wish my mom drove an srt journey when I was a kid. Be racing all over the place.

Journey > Camaro lol

Hehe, Wouldnt you guys love to live by the Chrysler Building? I see "prototype" cars almost everyday. They had a R/T Caravan roaming about not to long ago. They had a Fiat 500 at best buy a the new Grand Cherokee at BW3s.

I need to get my huge lens for my DSLR and go to the mini test track they have.

Turbo Minivans back in the day were not all that awesome. 150 HP to pull around those heaps was barely enough. Sure you can build a 2.5 common block with a 16 valve head, a Super 60 turbo, all new boost pipes and 3" exhaust, etc. but you still have a FWD minivan. It's cool for what it is but it's hardly a performance vehicle.
