Got to see the Monte over the weekend. The new owner has done a ton of work on it. Repaired all the rust spots, all new rubber seals all around, new striping is set to go on soon, cleaned the interior really well.

I might have to become the next owner of it

I told him to keep me in mind when he is ready to sell it. He didn't fix all of the flaws on it, but it looks a ton better than it did.

I want to rant about how stupid slow people in the left lane make me and welcome the fucking ticket I got for trying to get around them...why the hell can I not just put up with it...shitty part is that it wouldn't matter what car I was in... I'd do it again

Traveling in the left lane should be a capital offense. Seriously.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Fixed that. I 'travel' in the left lane, but at a clip faster than most traffic. I move over when someone faster comes along. But yes, I feel everyone's pain on that subject. Move the hell over if I'm going faster than you.

I-65 North between Indianapolis and Chicago has become a real pain in the patootie since drivers suddenly seem to always drive in the passing lane. Certainly makes my job much more difficult. :cussing:

That is what the difference is between driving and traveling.

Those of us who respect the left lane for what it is drive in it. We are faster than the regular flow of traffic and get out of the lane when someone faster than us wants to pass.

Traveling in the left lane means you think it's a lane like all the others and get pissed off if someone wants to pass. Those people should be shot.

Yes, I too wish I had a .22 to blow out the tires of the slow asshole scumbag bitch on her cell phone in an suv while doing her makeup yelling at her kids and driving with her knee in the fast lane exactly fucking parallel to the dumb asshole slow-ass driver right next to her in the slow lane. It really really really seems to grind my gears, fuck Peter Griffin, too.

I wanted one of these to prevent me from the above...

But I'll settle for a train horn.

... now that I think about it, I flip off about two people daily when I have to pass them in the slow lane. .... wow, I ought to calm it down on that. I wonder when my car will be vandalized.

The only problem with http://www.leftlanedrivers.org/ is that the decals will only work for drivers who have their rearview mirror properly adjusted. Of course, these drivers are fucking morons, so that is not likely. I can't count the amount of times I've been flashing the person in front of me to get the fuck out of my way, only to realize that when I look into their rearview mirror I don't see their eyes, but their arm, or leg, or center console, etc.

I can't stand the number of people who think it's okay to drive with their hazards on in the rain or fog. Not only is it illegal in Florida it's also dangerous. It makes it harder to tell if someone is hitting their brakes, You can't tell if someone is going to change lanes, a flashing light gives an illusion that an object is getting closer and then farther away in situations of limited visibility, and if you really are having trouble seeing to the point you feel the need to put your hazards on, how bout you pull over and wait for the storm to pass.

Drives me crazy and I love it when I see an FHP officer pull these people over, which has been happening quite often as of late.

Just wanted to rant about tourist. F"ck you all that act like u never seen a deer before or any kind of wildlife and think it's ok to stop in the middle of the road to look at it. Go watch the discovery channel or something n stop making all these damn traffic jams. Also stop coming here and buying all the Newport 100's. When it's 10:00pm I don't want to have to drive to 5 different stores to find some. My favorite sayin about this is " It's tourist season why can't we shoot them?" ok I'm done now till the next holiday.

Do not let your kids read this post!

ATTN stupid people who buy shitty cars and want to complain after the fact

I DO NOT CARE I DO NOT CARE I DO NOT CARE

I gave you the option of a new or certified vehicle. I explained the risk you were taking to get such a cheap vehicle. I offered you a warranty at a discount. I offered to let your mechanic look it over.

You cant figure out how to open the fucking door is not a defect or a problem or anything we should fix. UNLOCK the fucking door and it will open. Dont unlock it and it will stay closed. When you brake the handle from ripping on it because you cant figure out how to unlock the door that IS NOT my problem get the fuck away from me I have shit to do

I had my first experience driving in Chicago yesterday. :runaway: No way I could DD there- people are crazy in traffic!

Went to a venue in Evanston to see Steve Forbert (opening act) and Shawn Phillips. Incredible show! I was in the front row and was so close to the stage that I could have touched both of them (actually got hit by Steve Forbert's spit at one point! ). Added to my collection of autographs (pretty busy week, what with Paul Le Mat and Cindy Williams at Carisle and now these two).

Meh, driving in Chicago is easy. Just pretend you are a half hour late to a meeting your life literally depends upon at all times and you will be fine.

SAD NEWS - Please join me in remembering YET ANOTHER great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Dough Boy died yesterday of a yeast infection and traumatic complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Dough Boy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three children, John Dough, Jane Dough, and Dill Dough, plus they had one in the Oven. Services were held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
