Snow is fun for everyone who doesn't have to drive all day- how would you like to do your job every day in snow and ice? :cussing: Professional drivers really earn their salaries during the winter months. The good news is that, come January, I hope to park the SRT in the garage for the remainder of winter since I will then have a company car.

I do my job everyday in the snow and i love it! In fact i ONLY do my job in the snow.... snowboard contest, coaching etc etc. I wouldnt get paid if it didnt snow

I feel you're pain tho, driving in that stuff sucks. Specially when the mtns around here don't have guard rails to stop anything from plunging 100 odd feet to the ground.

Actually, for the last 2 winters I've been a moffit truck/flatbed driver, so I know all about that. What Exactly do yo do anyway, Gramps? Ill the talk about driving here or there or through so and so, seems like a lot of miles on a personal vehicle

I don't use my personal vehicle for either of my jobs (no way would I subject an SRT to that kind of punishment!). I am a courier, full-time job is 226 miles M-F (and most Saturdays- I had a run to Cincinnati this past weekend) and part-time (280 miles every Sunday). I have been working all seven days for more than four years now and it has just worn me out.

I know what you mean Gramps. I am in the same profession and I have gotten worn out too. But luckily for me I'm the Boss too so I can take time off to recoop. What kinda vehicle do you drive then? a standard boxtruck or a parcelbox?

Don't laugh... full-time job- Subaru Forester, part-time job- Chevy Uplander. The Forester will go when it hits 100K (I will get a Dodge Caravan then). I had been driving a Chevy Express for the part-time job until I hit black ice at 70 MPH and flipped it over. :shocklook:

I used to drive a tri-axle box truck though years ago for another job. Even though I'm not using it for work right now, I have a Class B CDL (I can't back up semi-trailers- it's much harder than it looks :banghead: ).

Hahaha..yeah there is aot of people who have a hard time with trailers. Now imagine backing up 2 53 footers. I had to do that once in Alberta. THAT WAS HARD! lol.
Now when you say a Tri axle straight rail you are counting the stear axle too right? or do you mean a Tandom with tag?

Here is a pic of what I was driving- front axle, rear axle and the third axle that you had to drop for heavier loads. I had nightly routes between Plainfield, IN and Lexington, KY or Collinsville, IL. I quit Eby-Brown after my dispatcher ****ed me off and haven't used my CDL since.

Oh ok. that is what we call a standard 5 Ton 26foot re-fer van, with a "tag" axle. (and that isnt in regards to the plant) for anyone thinking that way lol.

I only have a 16 foot Box truck. I use to drive all different types and sizes of trucks. too many to list.

Ah. Is she worthwhile? I'd hate to pay shipping for a used up dried out Steven lookalike.

She's got a couple good road trips left on her. Definitely worth the cost of shipping.

This whole "hater" trend is about as gay as it fucking gets. Who cares if someone doesn't like it, especially considering in a lot of cases they build the car so that no one will like it. It reminds me of this:
