So my friend and I were on our way back from Houston in 2 Red SRT's, We passed through one of those one stop light towns. We were stoped at the light when a Cop passes in front of us, pulls a U-turn and comes up behind us, followed us all the way to the edge of town and pulls us both over.

He takes our lic and ins with out even telling us why he stopped us and was a complete dick. (he got nicer when he found out we are both veterans) So he asks us to step out of the car and proceeds to lecture us about how he's sick and tired of Army boys speeding through his town(WE WERE STOPPED AT A LIGHT) LOL I didn't want to argue so I just let him speak and he let us go after threatening to tow our cars for no reason.

I feel like what he did was somewhat illegal. We were'nt doing anything wrong.

This is not a bitch or complain about police, just this guy.

He probably saw two "sports cars" and figured you were up to no good. They can pull you over for anything. I was pulled over for my license plate light looking dim. I checked in when I got home and it was fine.

I'm gonna guess he was just having a bad day, thus the rude introduction. At least you were just let go.

cops near army bases are always like that. i got a public intox walking back to base 1 block away from the gate. i was walking on the sidewalk he said i was walking on the street. then he told me to sit on the curb and when i did he grabed my shoulder and threw me on the pavement behind his car, and in his report he said i stubled and fell on the concrete and thats why he took me in. my platoon sgt and 1st sgt didnt belive me until another guy go a PI in a different area of town the very next day with an almost word for word copy of my report! my advice is to bohica when dealing with police outside of army bases.

they changed my arrest to a detainment, which is just fancy lingo for i didn't get in trouble, and the base comander told the monterey police that if he recieved anymore BS cop reports then he would not let any soldiers go off base. that doesn't sound like much but in monterey, CA they lived off of the soldiers paychecks so it would have destroyed much of the local economy.

This is good to know, glad to see that some justice was done.

It disturbs me to hear stories like this. Policemen should be out enforcing the laws, not breaking them or making them up as they go.

Off-topic but I was once stopped by an intoxicated  sherriff's deputy in the middle of the night at the US 35-US 30 junction who claimed that he had clocked me going 70 MPH (I was doing 55). He never asked for my ID or registration but just verbally harrassed me about how the route I was going (from Knox, IN to La Porte, IN) wouldn't work ("You can't get there that way!"). I was on a delivery route for a pharmacy and had a van full of prescription medications so I was very nervous. He finally let me go after about 10 minutes. I could smell alcohol on his breath so I knew that he was drunk.

yea he probably just wanted to vent and you were the lucky one to hear it lol.
btw, how did he pull both of you over if you were in seperate cars? or did the other pull over since one of you was pulling over?

Actually there is a difference between your thread and this one...

You actually did something wrong. Mr Pla didn't do anything wrong, or at least he didn't say he did something wrong.

Well you know what the solution is to this problem?

STOP SPEEDING AT A RED LIGHT! NO SPEEDING WHILE STATIONARY! DON'T EVEN DRIVE A CAR THAT LOOKS FAST WHILE STANDING STILL!

You have a nice day now.

You guys weren't speeding or anything earlier?
I wouldn't of been happy either, if I got pulled over for NOTHING.

Sounds like your small typical hick town with a cop that wants to stir shit up and make a problem.
