When my ex and I decided to go our separate ways, I said to myself not to contact her anymore, ever. I changed cell phone numbers and started using a whole new email account.

Then I received a Christmas card from her. Since it was the holidays, I sent her a gift.

It's not that I'm still interested of her, I figured that I should give her something for Christmas. Then that was it, no more contacts with her. It was a mutual decision for us to separate anyways.

So yes, moving on is the best way to go, we've moved on.
