Henessy is like Saleen, sperate companies from Dodge and Ford (respectivly). The Henessy Viper is a twin turbo beast with something on the lines of 800 horsepower on the lowerend tune and 1000+ on the better tune.
Actually Saleen is more a part of Ford is than Hennessey since Saleen was brought it by Ford to help develop the GT. So really Saleen isn't even a part of Ford, just an outsourced company to help with development. Hennessey is a whole seperate company not affiliated with DCx that just builds and tunes the Viper, SRT-10 Ram, Carrera GT, 911, and several other cars. It's more of an aftermarket speed shop for people with money.

Sounds good but for the amount of money you'd pay to have it, it just isn't worth it for me. A year and a half ago I thought about an SRT-4 but after going over how much the carpayment was + the outrageous insurance cost... just wasn't worth the extra speed. I just didn't feel like I wanted to be near broke every payday trying to get the car paid off ASAP so I don't have to pay as much interest and paying the insurance ontop of that.

Maybe it's the fact that I'm a girl and that I'm over 25 but my insurance only went up $15 a month going from the R/T to the SRT.

Probably but for me it was just crazy at the cost but I did have 1 speeding ticket on me but I dunno. My R/T is around the $200-245 a month range and the SRT was going to jump me to over $300. After I found that out I completely forgot about the SRT and didn't even think about it anymore. Well and my Insurance company sucks for price so I hope to be changing soon since as you can see they're a little pricey.

I saved over 30% switching to GEICO....
I pay $400 and change for full coverage on my R/T and liability on the wifes 94 mini v. Thats for a 6month policy since NY does not have 1 year any more..
When I was with progressive, I paid $160+ a month for a year for coverage! not with geico

Hey Muzzy Sorry, No we didn't go look at it, I had a choice today to either Go to a good friends wedding and spend the rest of the day turning my Expensive paper weight into the UDP it was originally ment to be or going up there and spending the day drooling for a car that I may not even get approved for loan wise. I used that slowly developing adult side of my brain and said screw it.

At least I know what the deal is, and maybe somone can get themselves a Nice srt for cheap! ;)
