So, I was wondering if I pumped jet fuel into my 05 neon automatic would it fly? say if I hit about 100 and went off a ramp or something like that?

Johnfail! A rarity in these here parts!

On a side note, I couldn't find a link to the video of Peter Griffin putting jet fuel in his pickup truck with full intentions of making it fly :[

Ok.

1) You're being completely serious?

2) Watch that vid BRAH, it's got little erm...fly-ey thingies on the side. Does that car look steady or safe to truly travel?

3) What leads you to the conclusion that jet fuel did that?

Oh.

4) He went from <2 MPH. Where'd you get the idea you'd have to hit 100+ to take off? Lul. Oh man. The fuel is what makes the planes fly, not their engines!

hey if u cut cardboard wings out and duct tape them to your back doors, and put one those rice boy spoilers on your car, if ur running jet fuel and have about 1/2 mile straight away you should be able to get lift off!

You meant JET chip + jet fuel. It's a little more expensive to fill 'er up with it, but well worth the HP gains. Hell, just read Chris's thread on the JET chip alone!

If you want to make your car fly the only way to gain horsepower effectively is with a shit load of ridiculous stickers all over the car especially the headlights

That's true. Headlight STICKERS, not decals, give the best bang for teh buck. Look at Anthony's front lip, then his power. It's a simple ratio. This guy should def get some stickers for all his lights STAT. Do black though. Colormatched stickers is FTL.

make sure to also make a body kit out of cardboard and and put 13" rims on the car otherwise you wont be able to take off!

If this is a serious question (I don't know why it would be, but meh)...

Adding jetfuel (aka super refined kerosene) to your car will not make it fly. It actually won't run. You probably could run it in a diesel though, however it won't fly. If you mean avgas, then yes you can use it but you will not see any gains, won't be able to fly and will probably kill your emission equipment from the lead.

Other scenero...

If you are just here to troll and post BS like this then GTFO.

On a stock car you probably won't be able to run it very long before it causes problems. Will run too hot.

I really don't think that will be the problem. I think the lead will cause more of a problem.

Maybe not with the way the computer is, but I know on an efi quad my buddy had it quit running because he kept running 108 through. Wouldn't start till he got it all out and replaced with 87.

108 race gas? If so that has lead in it, that could be the issue.

If anything he was killing performance unless he could go crazy with the timing because of the slower burn from higher octane.

We ran some excess race gas in our lawn mower to get rid of it, never had an issue with the lawn mower. That lawn mower is still running and mowing. It just took a little longer to start due to the slow burn.

LOL at this thread.

It started out as a fail and now we are really discussing real race fuel LOL

Nope. Efi on the quad only adjusts air/fuel. Timing was stock, and pretty sure it doesn't change much. And yep, it was 108 race fuel. Vp actually lol.
