Trico wiper blade warranty, anyone know?

Post by jT » Fri Apr 09, 2010 2:25 pm

Anyone dealt with trying to claim any warranty on them for performance?

I don't have the packaging anymore so I don't know if it says anything on it about a warranty.

I've had the blades for just under a year and both blades have developed a sort of weak spot in the blade where the rubber just folds back rather than acting like a squeegee.

If they were some cheap $3 blade I wouldn't care, but since I paid about $20 each specifically to have a better blade that would last longer I'm disappointed that these are already trashed.

Just so you know...

Wiper blades should be replaced every 6 months. A year of good life can be expected out of better blades, but no more. I don't think any wiper blade company offers a lifespan guarantee other than a defect in manufacturing warranty.

These are what I use...

I have got a year of use out of them. Winter snow and ice and summer sun and heat are the biggest killers of wiper blades.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I have a pair of armorall silicone windshield wipers on my neon that are about 1 1/2 years old, no streaks and they still put down silicone on the windshield.
