so basically the fourth or fifth time since last september a fire has broken out in the sanddunes near my place..
The firebrigade is struggling to control it, as it is currently breaking out of the stop-lines and progressing to a small village.




smoke can be seen on satellite images. The plume stretches form the shore to about 40km over the northsea.

Last night at about 1AM local time, the fire was no longer progressing and the evacuees could reutrn again. It was under control, but it spread out again earlier today, it's going to take a few days before all is well again i think

I remember when a forest fire broke out just a few KM outside of Thunder Bay the one year. Whole city filled with smoke.
