cause there only 50 bucks now, still too much money, but if your wasting money on a MSD coil , why not waste money on plugs too.

EXACTLY! I don't know...because I wanted to i guess.
Edit: and so i can get a .3 horsepower increase over the NGKs.

Ok...
Here is my thing on spark plugs.. Who cares? The manufacture spends a ton of money on R&D for the engine that is in your car. If they decided to use champion spark plugs, that is what you should use and buy.
The fancy plugs out there are bullshit. They claim to add horsepower.. Its a freaking spark plug.. a 6 dollar part isn't going to give you shit. The companies get away with this scam because all it really helps you with is engine response and all the stupid ricers fall for it because they believe they just got 5 horsepower, per plug.
Next time you buy replacement parts, please post it in the off topic thread.

I disagree and agree at the same time.
While it is only a 6 dollar part, the better the spark, the more power can be made. A spark plug CAN make all the difference.
Our car just doesn't utilize these plug because it doesn't have the use for a hotter spark.
Not saying the pulstars work good in anything, just saying some cars will run better on an iridium or platinum plug then on the copper.

In my opinion I have to disagree more than agree.. I believe a spark plug with the "extra" prongs (example: E3) can make it worse.
The spark in the spark plug will want to go to the spot of least resistance.. Now if you have more prongs, isn't it going to add options for the spark to hit and add resistance?
At autotech school they had a setup board with different kinds of spark plugs, the one that did the best was a regular OE spark plug (forget the brand, it was about a year ago)

Search SRTForums for dyno sheets of before/after with different spark plugs.
They make a difference... it's not pish posh.. it's fact.
I don't recall about these particular spark plugs but different plugs make different power.

Yea but you aren't arguing with what I said. I'm not talking about the e3 or the pulstar shit.
I'm talking about the different cores. ie: copper, platinum, iridium etc..
All Champion or NGK brand.

No one called you a dumbass, but I don't think a topic (in the off topic area) needed to be made about what you bought
Because if that was the case.. I could make a topic about my roy rogers i bought today.

Brands do make a difference, that's why I don't use Champions
Anyways, there have been much more pointless threads in the OT section than this one.

There's nothing wrong buying pulstar plugs, just different people's tastes probably. I have been using NGK VPower copper core for more than 1 years and it runs great. I just swap a MSD coil due to the bad contacting at the terminals for the stock ones, bosch magnetic core?wires and NGK iridium and they run great too.

My SXT had those vile E3 plugs when I bought it, ripped those out immediately the idle was HORRID with them. Stock plugs went in and all is well.
