i need a new rear bumper anyways


plans for then intrepid are

new headlights
new tires for the 17" rims
fix the dents
new hood or paint the current hood ( its gold) car is maroon
replace all brakes calipers and everything all the way around
tint the windows
fix the power trunk release ( there is power back there but it wont work think the motor is bad)
either get a lip for the oem bumpers and some type of side skirts or get the body kit like above

( use the paint i have and paint the car white) lost my reciept so i cant take the paint back


then redo the whole interior and call it a day

if you think about it spending anymore other then for reg maintenance on a car really is dumb and the worse investment anyone can do .
if you think that is bad im also looking into doing a 3.5 HO swap on the car, that motor bolts direct with the tranny and that motor is cheaper then the 2.7 i have in the car now.

no to what the body kit or everything? i really only want a diff front bumper and ill prolly try to fine a cheap oem replacement rear bumper. if i could find a r/t front bumper id get that i want fog lights

bc i can but think about it is it dumb in a way, you wont ever get the money you put into the car back even if u part the stuff if your lucky you will break even! most ppl wont pay for the extra non oem parts you have on it it u sell it. not up this way anyways

Cou can have your oem bumper for under 100 bucks through them.

There website will tell you if there is a shop close to you or not, but for OEM i think is the best way to go.

only issue is they are to far away and they dont ship . closest one is over 10 hrs one way

Damn theres one 30 minutes away from me, if i could find a box big enough i could ship it to you.

I've bought cars for $3000, put $1,000 into them and sold them for $5,000.. That's not a dumb investment at all

3.5 is a good investment actually. Well it's gotta be better than the 2.7 in there. Those engines are notoriously junk and problematic.

The 3.5 is a nice engine, the 2.7's are known to get sludged up if you are not on top of maintenance.

o ya , sludge build up, head gasket issues, last fall the water pump shit to bed while i was in there i changed the head gaskets, and everything else. ( bought the whole top end gasket kit) took about 20 hrs over three weeks or so to get back up and running, and these engines are a 0 tolerance with the timing, unlike the lil neon u can have the timing off a tooth or two and still run. not witht he 2.7s you cant. some how i did all the work on my own,. when to start it up and ran smooth as can be. everything running great on the car.

me = 20-22 hrs labor= head gasket/waterpump reaplacement about $350
to the garage for same work= min 18 hrs at $65 hr labor and $500 in parts= being more then a new engine .lol

we doing work myself and then going to the garage to reset codes i had, them being surprised that i was able to do it and was offered a job for doing 2 head gasket changes on 2 diff intrepids =priceless told them id do them both for no less then $800 cash but they didnt want to pay me only like 300 so i said nope!

lol.. the thing is with me. i dont really care if ppl hate it or not all that matters is if i like it or now. or if it works and serves its purpose for me for the time being. i know i waste alot of $$ on dumb shit . cutting corners. but i really dont care. fuck its just money you cant take it with you

although i am thinking about putting the srt wing on the intrepid and getting some pink underglows and maybe just maybe making a body kit out of cardboard and shaving the doors ( yes i mean the whole door) take it right off lol nah just kidding.

i dont spend everdime i have on stuff for the car, and yulp im 26. and your at that stage when ur born. with the medical issues i have i could die 5 mins from now you never know.
