No Srt-4 for me.

Post by neonslg09 » Sun May 23, 2010 10:00 pm

Thank you 7 people I asked, you can go fuck off.

Ruined everything to get the srt4. Not meant to be, apparently never will be.

I <3 2gn. I'll still build my current neon. I only sold the headlights, to anthony, which is awesome. And my vipers, but hey black stockers work for me.

So what's the story on this and I kind of agree the SRT-4 did sound a little rough.

^ It seemed like it was probably an R-Title. Not something I'd want. Unless you were gonna swap it's drivetrain to a good donor car.

I heard it had a clear title... 2 owners but the motor thing would scare me away.

I'm confused on the first part of his post.

Huh. Clear title? Then it was beat to hell apparently!

Yeah, I don't get it either. Must only be for the kids in the know. Meh.

I asked 7 people to co-sign. All said no.

Clear title.
2 owners.
Was fullybuilt once.
Hence new engine.
Never wrecked.
Good carfax.

I don't blame people for being apprehensive of cosigning any loan. I personally wouldn't cosign for anyone.

That is a lot of responsibility to take on.

Save up more money and jump on it, to be fair though, I'd never co-sign for anyone, not even my own brother.

Edit: Damn you Frank for beating me.

But when it's all family, have never been fired, nor missed payments on my own bills that I have. I find it upsetting/disheartening.

But whatever. Red car gets built.

Instead of blowing money in the red car... ask the bank how much more of a down payment you'd need to get financed for it.

Yeah, but what if this is the one thing you slip on? Now they have a problem on their hands.

THey told me I had insufficent credit, along with not been at my NEW job long enough. [three months]

I'm not dumping money really, if I can't get THIS srt, then fawk it. I'll keep the red one, and buy a little honda to dd or something. Maybe I just need a night to chill.

I got approved for 125 a month for 4 years. How much less could I get?

It will depend on how much you can put down.

Personally I don't see the point in getting a 4 year loan on a 5+ year old car.

Right, but if you put more money down the term or the payments will be lower.

The other option is cash.

Save money THEN buy a car. you'll thank yourself later.

My '06 is only a 3 year loan I'm paying off in 2, and I had $2,500 down on it.

Also, I would never, ever, sign for anyone. Family especially... i like to keep them and money as far apart as i can

Shit happens for a reason dude. My ma said she'd cosign for me, but I don't really want her to because I'm not "consistent" per sé (delinquent CC FTL). Get a decent DD that you wont be tempted to mod, and give big red some time down / fun parts. Sucks you lost your lights and seats, but it's all good. Black ones are cozy, eh

My car's an R-Title. Hell every car my parents have ever owned besides a few have been R-Titles. His Neon and Truck both are. Jeep isn't but it will still wrecked.

And sorry to hear it Steven. I know what you mean on the loan shit. Without a co-signer at our age, it's impossible to get a loan worth anything.
Personally I'd just start saving my money until I had a big enough down payment to get one. There will be more SRT's for sale, and you'll probably find a better deal.
