PA does this too, sorta. They don't get to guess your speed, it's much easier for them. They have a too fast for road conditions.

It was a sunny day, about 74F. I was driving through town, and it was not very busy at all. I went around a corner to exit the city into a more country like area. The speed limit was 35, and there was no sign saying slower for said turn.
I went around the corner probably a little under 35.
Cop pulled me over, said I was going too fast for road conditions, 108$ fine and 2 points. I beat the points, but had to pay the fine.

Bullshit ways to make money.

And im moving back to Michigan. Actually my brother got a ticket once in my truck because it sounded like he was going fast. Fought it andwon, but the Guy had the brass balls to write the ticket so either Michigan has a law similar or said cop is effing crazy.

Have faith guys (and gals) it wont be that bad, right?

On base, I never speed. Ever. The Marine Corps slams drivers for breaking the law under any circumstance. It's like a minimum 30 day restriction to drive on base if you're caught speeding. Off base, I'll usually drive no more than +5mph, but only in the higher speed roads (so 35's and 45's I usually stay in speed limit).

5 years, perfect record. Can't fuck that up. I just got insurance with USAA with full coverage and reimbursement for $474/6 months. I think if my credit was better, it'd be lower.

Atleast he gave you 9mph and not 10 over. Go to court and say guilty. Most likely you will get a slap on the wrist, pay a fine, no points.
