Anyone here familiar with the place?

I'm driving through there tomorrow around 10am on my way to Texas.

I am coming in on I-35 from the north... considering taking 435 as a bypass rather than going through the city on I-35.

Any suggestions?

10 am...traffic won't be bad at all. Just take 35 south. Driving the neon?

Yep, that went fine.

Yes, I'm in the Neon... left Rouyn-Noranda, QC last week and now staying in Gainesville, TX for the night.

Plan is to arrive in Schertz tomorrow after going through Fort Worth and Austin. <shiver>

I figure on taking I-35 through both Fort Worth and Austin tomorrow... Sunday.

I figure on going through Fort Worth around 6am tomorrow morning and through Austin around 9am.

Gawd... I am road weary and wasted from this trip and will be
happy when it is over tomorrow.

Now I remember why I gave up driving semi's.

I am in Texas baby! Schertz.

I programmed the GPS to find a route around Austin as I just did not
have it in my to go through yet another large city.

So, I landed up running around in rural Texas with the longhorns for a while until I hooked up with 29 and then 281 right into Schertz.
