You need to work on stuff that's really old, really broken, or really used a lot where there's a ton of salt. Just add a 3ft cheater bar then you'll break stuff.

Well, I guess you're right... the oldest crap I worked on was mid 80s...but I'm down here where rust and shit isn't an issue.

I did use a 8 foot cheater bar on my rear diff trying to do the gears for the Samurai.. my tools took the beating and liked it :P

The most I've ever done was bent an extension using it for something I should have :P

If you are using a cheater bar on ratchets/breaker bars, and a decent size bolt/nut, then use an impact socket, and a pipe wrench on said socket. The pipe wrench squeezing the socket will keep it from breaking, and the pipe wrench will not snap off like the square drive on a ratchet. A non impact socket may work, but the chrome might get peeled off, leaving razor sharp edges.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.
