Dodge Future Vehicles

Dodge Avenger •2013 Dodge Avenger: The midsize Avenger received a significant refresh for the 2011 model year, but an all-new midsize sedan is expected to launch sometime in 2012. Expect this sedan to use global platform architecture from within the Fiat group, along with Fiat's MultiAir engine technology.
Dodge Caliber •2012 Dodge Caliber: The Caliber will be dropped from the Dodge lineup by 2012 to be replaced by a compact sedan built by Fiat.
Dodge Challenger •2012 Dodge Challenger: The Challenger just received a major round of drivetrain, chassis and interior upgrades. For 2012, expect to see at least one more edition of the SRT8 model, likely with a more sedate color scheme than the 2011 SRT8 392.
Dodge Charger •2012 Dodge Charger: The full-size Charger sedan has just received an extensive overhaul. The arrival of a new SRT8 version with the 6.4-liter V8 will complete the line, and that will happen for the 2012 model year.
Dodge Dakota •2012 Dodge Dakota: The current Dakota will die off in the 2011 model year and return shortly thereafter as a lighter-duty, personal-use truck for 2012. Instead of a traditional body-on-frame design, it will use unibody construction to improve the ride quality and reduce weight. The idea is to offer much of the same capability while making the truck more appealing to casual truck users who would prefer improved mileage and carlike handling characteristics.
Dodge Durango •2012 Dodge Durango: The Durango just got a full redesign, so don't expect major changes anytime soon. The performance-themed Durango R/T could end up as a 2012 model when it arrives later in 2011.
Dodge Grand Caravan •2014 Dodge Grand Caravan: The Grand Caravan received a significant refresh for 2011, and it's unlikely we'll see a full redesign before the 2013 calendar year.
Dodge Small Car •2013 Dodge Small Car: A B-segment car produced by Fiat is expected to join the lineup in 2012.
Dodge Small Sedan •2013 Dodge Small Sedan: A compact sedan built by Fiat is expected to take the place of the discontinued Caliber.
Dodge Van •2013 Dodge Van: A larger, commercial van will arrive in 2012. It will be a repurposed model from Fiat's commercial vehicles group in Europe. A smaller, commercial-use van is also a possibility.

Fixed.
I hope.
That could be a range of about 2200 miles
(assuming 13mpg towing which is not unreasonable for a diesel while towing)

Holy fuck lol. It would cost as much to fill it up as the car payment. Although you'd only have to fill it up once a month.
That truck is as long as a typical truck/trailer lol.

Nope, I did both..TheRandom1 wrote:That's because you break the rest of the car before beating on the trans too much.
I beat the hell out of my neon, break a camshaft..
Run the shit out of my car, blow up the trans diff..
You can do both at the same time, I am proof..

Put like 15k on this 2.4 and trans so far, and the transmission had a very rough life before me. You just gotta know what kind of abuse they can take and what they can't. Plus, I haven't really broken much period besides the crash..TheRandom1 wrote:That's because you break the rest of the car before beating on the trans too much.

Article says Dodge is planning a 2013 pickup truck and shows a picture at the top. What else would I think they are putting a picture of on there. Certainly not an older truck. I didn't read the article, just looked at the picture.
Not my fault the author is a dumbass. Oh, and I didn't read the subtitle under the picture. That could've helped lol.

How many people here have blown up a transmission on a Neon? Their ATX sucked and had a poorly designed cooler that commonly broke (breaks?) and causes the trans to go bad. It's a fact and a well known issue.Forest Green 2k wrote:I disagree. I think the transmissions were pretty much the only things that didn't suck on Neons and were above average for an economy vehicle.TheRandom1 wrote:They can't make a FWD trans in a Neon that won't blow, how can they expect to do so in a full sized truck?

Ehh, I'd relate that more to a shitty radiator design, not transmission design. They should have had an external cooler, one not built into the radiator.
