I am sitting here in stunned silence at the news I just recieved. My Landlord of 8 yrs passed away suddenly. He was my friend, Land lord, and a confidant. This is a shock to me because he was always so healthy and active. We talked about a week ago and then his wife came by to say he was in the hospital. She then dropped the bomb on me by adding, "he has lung cancer." He only knew this less than a week, and now he is gone. I and my family will miss him dearly. He was always there ready to help when needed, to chat, and share a laugh. He is gone on to better things, and to happiness while we must contend with life as we know it. I will close with just this, We will miss you and always remember you.
God Bless you. Hugh L. McQueen 1929-2010. As a footnote; If you smoke, please stop now. Hugh is not the only one I have known to succumb to Lung cancer. So did my Mom, my aunt, my uncle, and my step-dad. Ask yourself, is smoking REALLY worth it?

Thanks guys. I always try to look at the bright side of things but I am still in shock at this. It always confounds me when things like this happen. I have lost so many loved ones to cancer. Thankfully I don't smoke, losing my uncle put a stop to that in my early 20's.
