I saw this on the org and it's too good to not pass along:

http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/41559/5 ... il-filters

5 filters for $15.

I bought 5 a little while ago, 3 for the Caliber, 1 fat one for the Neon and 1 Neon sized filter for the lawn mower. Total: $15.90

The Caliber filter is normally $9 each and i got all 3 for $9. Very happy person.

Picked up my 5 a little bit ago. At first they only gave me one filter for the caliber, glad I caught that.

Although $15 for 3 filters is still a good deal for them, I wanted the other two

No AAP out here in Cali apparently? :(

Great deal though!

Yep. After tax ends up being $3.18 each, which is cheaper than the classic would be if you bought it.

They probably get a brown goods truck once a week and it usually takes 7-10 days for the average inventory system to see a trend and resupply

I bet the system doesn't take into account a person who wants to horde filters.

Frank the Filter Hoarder, phucking up the system.

Or, is it the system haz filter hoarding protection enabled.

.. didn't think about that, There is a way to program an alarming trend where people are clearing out inventory with a promotion that is not making the company profit and it shuts down the resupply for a bit. I doubt it though lol.

I only bought 3 Caliber filters at a time, in addition to one fat filter and one neon filter.

So only 5 total at a time.

Frank, let's just face it, you have a problem. Hording is a disease. It'll start with filters and lead to other things.

I went and picked up my filters. Ordered 3 for red car/any 2.0. Ordered 2 for the srt.

They had the srt, only had one for red car. Got one and then had to come back the next day. They got more in but their computer didn't show me ever ordering anything and I had to stand there and argue for my other two filters even though I had the receipt showing I only picked one up..

I've heard a couple of bad stories about picking up these filters.

The first batch, I walked in and they gave me 3 filters, I told them I was supposed to get 5 and they got two more.

My second batch wasn't too bad, just had to wait for the guy to get it off the shelf. Then he brought over 5 Purolator Classics so I told him PureONEs and he went back and got 5 PureONEs.

Gonna keep trying to get 5 more and then I'll stop.

I ordered 5 and when I went in to pick them up and told the guy what I was there for he said "oh" and immediately walked to a shelf behind the counter and picked up my order which had been sitting there

Frank, you have a problem. It's called hoarding and it's going to take over your life.

Looks like the BIG10 code is expired. Let me check BITOG and see if there are new codes.

Yeah, BIG10 is done. I guess they caught on.

There are other BIGxx discounts but that involves spending at least $50.

That's not bad.

3 filters for $10 is only slightly more per filter than 5 for $15.
