I think part of the problem is we all know what Neons do. Every one of us own, or have owned a neon. People come in here constantly telling us how fast their neon is, and how they beat this and beat that.

I have no problem with Cody, you can just tell that he is young. I have not the slightest doubt in my mind that my red car will beat his car in every race (Straight Line) you can think of, and I can bet that just about everyone here will agree. Yet he still argues that he'll win. It doesn't bother me any, because I know he's young and I was sorta the same way. I just laugh and invite him to the drag strip sometime, not call him a fag and see if he wants to race in the Taco Bell Drive through...

Yea, meaning like it's stupid to race in retarded ass spots. Lots of people street race, to me it's whatever. Do it as safe as possible, but don't go looking for them.

I raced my first street race in the SRT wed night. I pulled up next to a wrx at the light. I pulled out easy, so did he. I short shifted to second. Started cruising in second and so did he. He took off so I took of. Was on the highway, clear roads, noone else on the road. Went up to a 100 and stopped.
I've raced two people on the road in over a year in my red car, one of them being Fuzzy, the other being some bitch in a Civic Si not wanting to let me get off the on ramp onto the highway.

In all seriousness, until he shows proof, other than a video of a 10mph roll to 60, we aren't going to believe much.

It's not the internet that needs to be taken serious, it's the factual arguments that human knowledge bases itself on that needs to be taken serious. You can't just walk into a room and tell everyone you did something, that seems impossible, without showing facts. If we believed everything we're told...well...have you ever seen the movie Idiocracy?

Show us hard evidence, show us true time slips, show us a cell-phone video of a race and maybe we'll be more willing to believe him. Until then, we're just gonna keep on 'Hatting.'

Nope.

That section was driving too fast, trying to keep up with the Autocrossing / Rally and Drag Racing sections. It slid off the screen, and rolled numerous times until it smashed into a large tree, then bounced off, and tumbled over a cliff.

It hasn't been seen since.

We do not condone street racing nor promote it but I'd rather there be a section for it.

If you don't support it nor care about it then it's better we have it's own section so you won't have to read about any street racing posts.

We could delete the section and ban anyone that mentions street racing.

The point of the section is that in a car forum street racing talk is inevitable. A specific section keeps it out of the eyes of people who don't want to see it.

Without that section all the people who insist on street racing will be posting their kill stories all over the forum and it will just cause more arguments. At least while its in there, people who feel strongly against it can just avoid the topic.

PS. Don't bump sh!t like this back up just to continue a pointless argument.
