if i get back what i think i am, the car's getting a new paint job/fixed body damage, timing belt/water pump/tensioner done (82,xxx miles right now so i might as well) and a comp 400. the rest gets saved.

hmm lets see where my return is going...
paying off the 01 neon (hers)
buying all the parts needed for a timing belt change (again her neon)
paying off all my credit cards (debt incurred from her)
partially financing a vacation for both of us
yeah, women are expensive...

at least i get a vacation out of it.
i have a gripe though about the IRS, its funny i got my W-2 the first week of the mo, but yet nobody could file till the 14th, and even worse yet the earliest you can get your return is the 28th. kinda sucks for those of us that really need the money.

I actually already got mine (roughly $5k between me and my 2 daughters) I bought paint primer and clear for the Neon, obx long tube, stall converter, and have money set aside for cams and machine work. Also bought a 78 Ford f100 4x4 and a new cam for the bronco.
I also paid off my mom's student loans and bought my brother a blazer.
Still have about a grand left and a new washer and dryer combo coming tomorrow

I really should use this money to help pay off credit cards that have already racked up due to out of control neon spending, but that kaminari hood is calling my name...

Buy a few cheap laptops, and pay off all my credit cards. Want to be debt free by my birthday and it looks doable.
My overtime money though?? That's a different story. 15x7.5 rotas, a dsp with 3 bar map, and some little odds and ends to put the 12.5:1 motor in the nyg. Have to do the waterpump and tbelt on the srt too.

I got my W-2 for my part-time job last Sunday and discovered that my employer didn't deduct anything for FICA so I'll end up owing taxes this year.

Well, amazingly enough, I am getting a refund of $134 from the federal government. I owe the state of Indiana $46 (the taxes on out-of-state purchases get me every year

). TurboTax charged $71.59 so I will clear $16.41. It could be worse- H & R Block charged over $200 last year.

$71.59 for TurboTax?
I don't remember it costing that much.
