it is a ps2 game that allows you to drag race top fuel dragsters, funny cars and pro stock cars. you can tune many different settings on the car. including clutch weights, clutch timers, fuel timers, blower overdrive, c/r, timing, wing angles, nose weight, and tire pressure. the conditions change from track to track so you have to try and find a good balence to get the car down the track with a good e/t.

I knew it had something to do with racing... but never heard of it.

I am not into the whole nascar, f1 thingy scene. Just tuner cars. Now I know!! So now I am in your l33t club of knowing about the nhra 03sxt.

its an interesting game that takes a little bit to get a hang of on the tuning side. just when you think that you have a combo that will work on the track it will smoke the tires. and you have to keep the car straight or you can smoke the tires be being out of the groove.
nascar and f1 are totally different then drag racing. but i get your point.

I'm not into the NASCAR or F1 scene either, I just like tuners and the NHRA. Gotta' love wicked fast dragsters.
It's all good.

i cant imagine the feeling to reach 330 mph in 4.5 secs. thats just crazy. but it has to be fun. the pro stock cars are very cool too. if you miss a shift by more than a few hundred rpm then you could lose. thats how close the class is.

Or you could blow the engine components into tiny little fragments.

i dont think its that close for blowing the engine to bits. i think the rev limiters help with that. but they do wind them up a lot, 9500 or so.
i like the pro classes, and the stockers/superstockers. they are really neat to watch. the .90 classes (8.90,9.90,10.90) are ok but they get boring, watch the car launch then the throttle stop kicks in for a sec or two and then they take off again. nothing radical about them. those classes would only be interesting if i was racing in them.
